dude, i wished you had shown me this stuff when you applied for [resonance]. pretty cool stuff. i like how they look but at the same time i like it when i can see these applied to your own work instead of just plain studies. you've got a good range of values and they describe the form well.
kirby and le esquisse (he's over here right now, heh) say 'if possible, maybe you can try testing your memory by drawing a character in a similar fashion like your studies here. and that this will help expand your visual library.'

I tried that just for giggles earlier and let's just say ....I fail.
God, don't get it. I mean, I do these slightly often when when i'm doing them, I TOTALLY get it, but after that, It like....falls out of my mind completely. : (
I think I just need to practice alot more. I don't do nearly as much of these as I should. And these only took me about 2 hours or so to do.
I shall try again tommoro. Maybe I need to sleep on it? lol. Will post.

Try drawing from memory immediately after drawing from life - it should still be fresh, and using it immediately may help you solidify it.
