CeludenSworn Xiahou Dun CeludenSworn Xiahou Dun Flaming needs to be reported by the person flamed. Don't see it in the rules anywhere. How can you personally be offended by an insult that wasn't directed at you? If Chainsaw King so no reason to report it, than its acceptable. I'm not offended by it. But I was under the impression that mods were supposed to enforce the RULES, which were broken by that post. Rule-enforcement should be all or none. It shouldn't be "if the victim of a broken rule reports it, I'll fix it, but otherwise it can stay" because a broken rule is a broken rule. No response yet. But seriously, what the ******** is that?

CeludenSworn There are levels of mods? o_0 Yeah, it goes Admin>Onmimod>Global mod>Dedicated mod>Helper. Xiahou Dun's a dedicated mod, second lowest rank. I've know of this for a while and it kind of makes sense to me. In some cases it might be a friend playing a joke, or someone saying something that the flamee doesn't find offensive. Ironically enough reporting someone for trolling is allowed..... but the basis for trolling is very vague apparently. It has to be offensive enough to be considered trolling and not flaming, but if it's not offensive enough then there's nothing can be done.... or maybe it's the other way around. I forget. Last time I had to report someone for trolling Neo X Death was Neo X death.

Yeah the rules here are seriously ******** up.
For example, you can be an a** toward someone provided you have a reason for it unless of course they're in the thread then regardless of how justified the statement its a violation of the rules.Quote: Quote: Rules and Guidelines No overly abusive language. The mods don't really know the rules themselves. I once got temp-banned for humouring an obvious scam about someone else selling their oh-so-valuable account because, apparantly, it goes against the rules to do so. I checked the ToS carefully (Although it seems to have been changed now from what it was then) and the closest I could find to such a thing was that you couldn't sell any part of Gaia at all for any profit. Essentially meaning that, if gold counts as a profit, then you can't sell your items. And if it doesn't, then you can sell accounts.
So I PM'ed a mod asking what was wrong and got nothing but a generic "It's against the rules." I replied wanting more than just a blanket statement and received nothing back.
