I just started playing again (I havent played in like 6 months) So I re installed FF VII and When I started my game Cloud was at lvl 99 and when I leveled up my level went down to 98??? Has anyone seen this before???

soadshuyin Ive never heard of that happening before. Thats weird as hell. yeah... lol, ive been playing for the past few hours and cloud is at lvl 82 and he is weaker then when I started, so it is all going backwards...

wow, craziness. never heard of it doing that, you need to take a pic or something.
have you found the "pogo stick" glitch with vincent yet?
sometimes if you have vincent in your party in the city of the ancients, during the part right before the "aerith-kabob", when the chars "hop out of cloud's pocket" and do their lines, he'll hop around on one leg, with his cape straight out behind him, and one arm straight out in front.
i am dead serious, i replayed the scene three times, and he did it each time. i managed to find a friend with the PC version, and it did the same thing there too, so we screencapped it on the computer as proof. i'm gonna look for the link and post it for people.

Darth-Chris yeah ive seen it, there is also countless other glitches in the game, one of the weirdest (other than my weird one) is the chocobo glitch, you can take the chocobo everywhere, (ie. underwater, in towns, in the air) do you know about the Junon switch? it's not really a glitch, but a goofy thing the programmers put in. if you hit the red button in the hallway with the drilling soldiers in junon(where the sub access is later) , an alarm goes off, then you can fight monsters from disk 2 on disk one at lower levels and get full exp and stuff for them while in the hallway.

bout the only weird glitch I ran into was everything went from English to some weird a** symbols, probably a dif language, and I had to restart my game to get it to go back to English again it was crazy

I havent seen the level glitch, but I did find the Vincent glitch quite humorous.

hmm i never played PC version, only playstation version and the glitch i saw on that one was being able to ride around in the rocket town rocket o.o

never occured to me. my copy got a problem where it keep on crash after the first fight at the crater. apprarently once avi file got corrupted. spent 2 days to hack through the hex codes.

Final Fantasy games for the computer are always full of glitches. sweatdrop

I have a question. If Cloud was at level 98, it would take a crap load of exp to raise him to 99. There is not one high level monster at the begining of the game, it would take more then two hours to bring (raise) ten levels? right?

In all my years of playing Final Fantasy games I have never seen any glitch in any of the million types I've passed the games.
