I can't even begin to describe how excited I am that the Church finally set up "a life outside of school" for those of us not at church schools.
I love getting to be in my own branch, and have a calling where the well intentioned sisters aren't asking "So are you dating anyone?" EVERY time I see them.
Are you in one of the new ward/branches?
What do you think about it?

I don't believe I know about these new branches.
At any rate, I refuse to go to any ysa wards unless the only other option is apostasy.

I'm at a YSA branch. I though I wouldn't like it, but I LOVE it! Been going for just over a year now, i'm moving soon and i'm really gonna miss everyone. Luckily there's one 15 minutes from where i'm moving, i hope i like it there are much as this one!

But I had a really fantastic time with the Brittania ward in England (it's a singles ward) while I was there for 6 months and when I came back to the US a new branch was created in my city and the people are fabulous.

Especially people my own age. I like guys less than I like people, because they are smelly. I'm not looking for a relationship, I'm not looking to get married. Why waste time in a place where I'm uncomfortable and don't want to be if I don't have a purpose of being there?

I'm in a YSA ward...but my Stake did it kinda funky like. The threw us in with one of the family wards (the smallest one of course) and gave us our own Sunday School and put in a YSA Elders quorum and RS councelor, and have the YSA Home Teaching/Visiting Teaching each other and have us filling in on other callings (like I'm the membership clerk). But I still think its cool.

singles wards are stupid, everyone seems so fake and nevous, In a REAL ward, I can talk to people, and feel comfortable around them, I love my ward. Its kind of funny, when I was in a singles ward, all the elders were very serious and uptight, now that i'm home, two weeks ago I was in elders quorm and the people in front of me were like... " hey, you wanna go home teaching this thurstay? Shyah man, then you can come over to my house, and we can play Halo." And these guys were like 38, they're great, and I feal comfortable with myself making jokes with these guys, heh, my ward is teh uper supreme. mrgreen And singles ward is teh suxor. gonk

Singles Ward for me xd

I hate going to Relief Society in a family ward. It makes me feel like Mulan in the early matchmaker part of that movie.
