So I've decided to convert. After hearing rave reviews about L'arrivee acoustic guitars and then stumbling upon some extra money, I've come to the conclusion that getting one of these guitars might be a good investment. Has anyone heard anything negative about these guitars? I'd really like to know before I drop a grand or more on one of them.....

The guitar I'm considering is the D-03 or the D-03R (Rosewood), and also the L-03R. I really can't decide now. I LOVE the sound of the L-03R but the look is a bit less than typical acoustic.

Negative? Well...they're accoustic...

HOLY s**t. Pardon my language, but WOW. that's good playin. I've seen a guy by the name of Raul Midon play something similar to that. (also on a L'arrivee conveniently) Maybe I'll learn to slap and tap someday too.

It may have already happened.... but I'm gonna call that genre of playing "Slap'n'Tap".
