So, yeah. I said I'll do it, so, here it is. This is just the first post that should have a little introduction and stuff. Ohh well. The next few posts will be actual stuff. Yay.

Works in Progress:
A message in order to PM the 'inactive' members.
A message in order to PM members to tell them that they were denied membership for some reason. Especially for failing to read the announcements before joining.
A message in order to PM welcome new member.

Final Copy of Works:
"'Inactive' member PM."
Dear [Member Name], In order to weave out some inactive members, we at The Spelling Nazis hereby officially contact you about your commitment to our Guild. We are in no way saying that you must live within the Guild, but we do feel like every member should put in his or her own fair share of participation. If you do not wish to be a member any longer, do not feel shy about requesting to be removed from the Guild's member list. If you fail to reply to this with a two-week period, we will immediately remove you from the list. For some reason you were inaccessible to a computer within the two-week period, and you are still interested in your membership, you may resubmit your application of joining. We would be more than happy to have another member within the fine establishment of The Spelling Nazis.
Sincerely, The Spelling Nazis Moderators
"Denied application PM."
[Soon to come.]
"Personalized Welcoming PM."
[Soon to come.]
If anyone has any questions/comments/changes to these PM messages, feel free to post with corrections and the sort.

Twilight, I love you now. If I ever have to go away for any reason, I'm giving my captians hat to you. surprised heart
I like that message. How should we designate who PMs who? We would also have to make sure that all the mods here do their job wil PMing the people they were assigned to. Also a few of the mods here seem to be having activity problems. I don't think I need to say exactly who. They know who they are.
Anyways, I think we should have the two deny messages: "Bad spelling/grammar" and "Failed to read announcement."

I know you love me. But, hands off, or Kasumi shall eat you. Or push you down a bottomless pit... Or both... o_O
I still need to edit the PM and make it more... Better. I put it together in a haste. As far as who sends the PM... It's only logical for whoever accepts/denies the application will be the one who sends the PM. I mean, at least it's logical to me. gonk
And, I'll work on the other three messages as soon as I finish doing my internet rounds. =D

I didn't mean I loved ya in that way, silly. whee
When I said that we have to designate who send the message to who, I mean the inactivity message. When we moved, I PMed everyone who was in the guild that we changed location to here. It was awful. We'll need to organize that...

Ohh. La la. I'm an idiot. XD Umm, how about we spilt it up into pages, or something? I'm sure we'll figure out a way to do it as soon as the final draft of the PM is done.

I can help with that, you guys. How about a message sent to every person with under ten posts, who have been members for over.... Say.... two weeks?

Most people are in this guild and don't come in here, but go around correcting people and such. I agree with the post thing though...

Yeah, but if you're a member of a guild you should at least come back to post. It's useless to be a member of guild just for the sake of being able to say you are.

Yeah... We need a better system than that. XD;
Erm... But... I guess I'll be the one whom sends the PM to them. First I need to go around and check the last login date; to make sure they're inactive due to inactivity on Gaia, or inactive due to lack of participation. On that note, what do we do with the people with lack of activity on Gaia? Do we just send the same PM to them? Or... Not send one at all... Or... I don't know. @_@

We can go ahead and send one to the people that aren't active on Gaia. It couldn't hurt. xp

Pssh. Too much work. For me? Ha. No such thing. But, then again, I won't be on tomorrow or Saturday. XD So, I'll quickly work up the final draft now so that people other than me can send it out.

That works. People who aren't active on Gaia should still be PMed.... That way when they do come back they'll know.
