 Noyana crouched low in the tall grass, her tail elevating as was normal. From any other vantage point, you could see her bright green tail with the black fuzzy top sticking out of the grassline, but Noyana seriously believed it looked like a stalk of grass. She spotted her target; an innocent mouse nibbled on a grain in the clearing ahead. Noyana wasn't going to let it get away. She inched slowly closer, then checked on it again. Yup, still there, she thought to herself as she sat in silence.

 (( D= I never got my cert. *Will make a post in the Cert thread* @o@; Also, sorry this reply took so long luff! ^^; )) Also hiding among the grass, blending in very well with his pale green coat, was another hunter. His prey wasn't a mouse though. It was the yellow cub that was watching the mouse. Grinning, the pale cub inched forward, his lime-green eyes glinting with michief. His parents had told him a thousand times not to do what he was about to do, and yet, there he was preparing to do it.
Without even a moment's hesitation, and with a quick flick of his tail, the pale green cub pounced. "AHA!" Laughing as he landed on top of the yellow female, he wrapped all four of his legs around her in an attempt to pin her down. "I've got you now sis! I'm the Champion of...of everything!" Needless to say, the mouse didn't stick around to celebrate Chuiwa'karatasi's victory.

((No prob! I know how hectic life can get. XD ))
Noyana growled at her brother, torn between being mad at him for chasing off her "kill," or playing with him. She decided play was the best option.
"You're not the champ quite yet!" Noyana yelled, struggling to her feet. She wasn't about to just let her brother win! She tried to shake him off, but found her efforts difficult, and eventually collapsed. However, this still wasn't the end of the fight. She rolled over on the ground to face him and began pawing and clawing at him.

When Noyana rolled on to her back and started swiping at his face, Chuiwa attempted to n** her paws. He wouldn't have bitten her hard, but being young, he still wasn't fully aware of how rough his idea of fun was. His sister could take it though, hopefully.
"Where's your shadow?" The pale cub snickered, refering to one of their brothers, who was actually Noyana's identical twin. Being twins, it was almost expected that they spend a lot of time together.

"Actually," she said, pausing her swatting, "I'm not sure. I think he's off exploring," she offered, beginning to whack at him again. However, this was how a girl plays- Noyana couldn't do that! She mustered all of the strength in her young body to escape from underneath him by squirming to the left. When she rolled out, she hit a rock really hard, but didn't care, and launched herself at her brother laughing

Deciding to cut his sister a bit of slack, having scared her lunch away, he allowed her to wriggle out from underneath him. He regreted it soon after though, as she turned round and tackled him to the ground.
Laughing, he held up both his front paws. "I surrender?" He said between chuckles, obviously trying to trick his sister into thinking she had won. Chuiwa may have been good at play-fighting, but he was a poor liar.

"Not yet you don't!" She said. He couldn't possibly surrender at a time like this. She jumped off of him, swiveled to face him, and planned on pouncing him again. She launched herself forward, but she was too high up, and ended up jumping right over him and into a prickly-bush.
"Ow," she said, squirming her way out. Every movement hurt, but not enough to stop Noyana.

Chuiwa laughed as his sister went flying right over him, but soon shut up when he realised that she had landed in a prickly bush. As boisterous as he was, he knew that there was a line that should never be crossed, and this time the line forbid him from taking advantage of the situation. "Are you OK sis?"
Carefully, he reached out his head in an attempt to grab hold of Noyana and drag her out of the bushes with as little pain as possible. It was easier said than done though, as they were both around the same size.

Noyana picked her way carefully out of the prickly bush. There were a few thorns sticking out of her vivid yellow pelt, but she thought it was kind of cool. Very few of them were actually in her- and of those, they weren't in very far.
"I'm fine," she said as she crawled out of there, favoring one of her paws. Once out, she promptly sat down and picked a small thorn out of between two of her toes, and started to pull some out of her side too.
"Pretty clumsy of me, huh?" she asked with an embarassed chuckle.

Once he saw that she was alright, he could start making fun of her as only an older brother could. "'Pretty' clumsy? You have all the grace of a baby giraffe!" As far as insults go, that one was pretty lame, but then, he was still only young. Besides, it was meant as more of a joke than a proper insult.
Grinning, Chuiwa'karatasi watched as his sister continued picking thorns out of her fur, his tail flicking quickly from side to side. He was eager to continue their play-fighting, but away from the pricker bush this time.

Noyana gave her brother a playful "hush up," look. "I'm more graceful than a baby giraffe!" She said after plucking the last thorn out of her fur. She rose and stuck her nose and tail proudly in the air. "At least I could move around within an hour of my birth! Giraffes can't do that," Noyana said, unsure if truly she could or not. She was sure she had though, she was a strong lioness, and she therefore had to be able to.
She wanted the play to resume as well, but she wanted the upper paw. She checked out of the corner of her eye, then swivelled and pounced at her brother.

"Yeah, right! We all know that I was the first one to be moving around and stuff. I'm the second oldest!" Seeing that his sister was ready to resume, he quickly shut up and prepared to pounce.
As soon as Noyana made the first move, Chuiwa leapt up into the air to join her. Only for the pair of them to bump heads mid-air. "Oww! Your head is hard as well as big sis." He said with a laugh as he landed back on his feet.

"Oof!" Noyana uttered as she flopped to the ground. She sat up and rubbed her head too. "Your skull isn't exactly like a bunch of feathers either," She said in good humor.
It took a moment to realize what her brother had said. She promptly, upon realizing it, pointed a claw at her sibling and exclaimed, "AH HA! So you admit it, I'm your 'big sis!'" She really had little to no idea where she was going with this argument. She truly was the last born, but that didn't matter to her. "That must mean that I moved before you!"

Chuiwa tilted his head, confused by what he originally said and then more so by his sister's reply. "Nooooo..." He argued. "I said you have a big head, not that you're my big sis!" Grinning mischieviously, he jumped down from the rock he was on and turned back to Noyana.
"Last one back to the den is a rotten bird's egg!" Laughing, he quickly turned and started running in the direction of the den he shared with his parents and his other siblings. He was completely sure that he could beat Noyana in a race, as brawn beats brains all the time. Right?

"You're bound to lose, Chuiwa!" Noyana yelled as she took off as fast as her cub legs could carry her. Chuiwa would beat her if she didn't get ahead of him, and there was no way she was going to be the rotten bird's egg!
She had to think of something, quick. She ran up on top of a rock and jumped from it, hoping to land in front of her brother, and therefore have the advantage.
