There are many kinds of chocobos but just how many and yes u are able to get the white and other wierd colors trust me.

Okay, so I got yellow, green, blue, black and gold when breeding them. Then there were (calculates on fingers) dark blue, purple, white, red and pink ones in the races. So I'm guessing 10?
How do you get white and weird colours for yourself? I'm intrigued!

I dont know but all my brother is a final fantasy freak and knows almost everything but for some reason he wont tell any body how to get those chocobos ur going to have to trust me

no. Not at all. It's impossible to get the other colors of a chocobo except:
yellow
green
blue (light)
black
gold
I don't even think there is a way to get the other colors with a gameshark or something like that. Other final fantasy's you can get the other colors, but definitely not 7.
But please humor me and get a screenshot of Cloud on a white chocobo.

yeah you can only catch yellow and breed blue, green, black, and gold ones no other colors are obtaiable. also i've never heard of any gameshark code to do so. thoe cloud on a pink chocobo would look hilarous.
(oh you can get a white and red chocobo but you need to play FFIX to get them and can only use them in said game)

The only way to obtain a different colour chocobo than the other ones already listed is via a Gameshark if it's even possible that way, and a nifty little thing called Photoshop.
The only available colours are Yellow, Green, Blue, Black and Gold. If there were any more colours available everyone would know about it, FF7 having been out almost a decade I think?
Your brother is lying, sorry to put that bluntly but he is. In FF7 those are the only chocobos available. I believe only in FF9 are you able to obtain other colours, like Red and White.

I have to agree with everybody else. In all my years of playing FFVII, I have never heard of getting the other colours.

You could get Cloud to ride a different coloured whilst racing using a game shark, but as for the world map and such, it's impossible without some sort of programming background. Then again, you could always chage the colouring of your TV to make it look pink or white etc. o.o
