I saw a certain flag with a green tree symbol on it at half mast today and had a very strong feeling of deja vu... A clinical term for it is paramnesia, and the most common kind, the kind we have both reported is specifically called; Déjà vécuUsually translated ' already seen' or 'already lived through [this is the the one 70% of the population report having expirenced, most of them between the ages of 15 to 25] Deja vu is part of some world religions, associated with re-encarnation, dreams and pyschic ability. Here is the reason that makes the most sense to me; Wiki says ...as time passes, subjects can exhibit a strong recollection of having the "unsettling" experience of déjà vu itself, but little to no recollection of the specifics of the event(s) or circumstance(s) they were "remembering" when they had the déjà vu experience. In particular, this may result from an overlap between the neurological systems responsible for short-term memory (events which are perceived as being in the present) and those responsible for long-term memory (events which are perceived as being in the past). Many theorists believe that the memory anomaly occurs when one's conscious mind has a slight delay in receiving perceptive input. In other words, the unconscious mind perceives current surroundings before the conscious mind does. This causes one's conscious self to perceive something that is already in one's memory, even though it was in one's memory only a split second before it was perceived. 3nodding

I have deja vu a lot. I've had it so many times that I've lost track of how many times and the last time I've had it. Possibly this morning, I would guess.

It happens so frequently I don't think I can remember the last time. Probably some random moment while watching tv.

That happens to me a lot of times. It's really quick and makes me think for a few minutes afterward about what just happened. It's just really weird and hard to explain... XD

I've definitely had it happen! Usually something happens in my dreams and then some time later it happens in real life. It's usually something small. 3nodding

I get it all the time, sometimes I feel like it's happened 4 or 5 times in a row, or I get consecutive Deja Vu

It happens to me on a somewhat regular basis. Not too often, maybe once or twice every few months, but still more often than some people. Sometimes little things, sometimes big things, sometimes I don't even know what triggers it. It's really weird.
