i got it like this week and i finished it. good game, but short. i'm eager to finally try it out on xbox live. yeah. i got a bunch of 48 free trial cards, so yeah.

I got it and i love the online play buti need to take it back cus the game seems to give my xbox alot of disc read errors

[perplex] CrisisCenter i got it like this week and i finished it. good game, but short. i'm eager to finally try it out on xbox live. yeah. i got a bunch of 48 free trial cards, so yeah. it think the trial cards are like mini advertisements, just not in the form of 'em. microsoft is begging you to get xbox live by giving you 48 hour trial cards in game packages. then when it expires you'll be moaning, "more....more...." thats my theory on the whole thing.

Oh, I see. Trial cards to let you have xbox live gold. I just read IGN's newest review on the game, and it made me a little worried. I loved playing the demos, but the review talked about a lot of problems with the grappling hook, and the falling and getting up animations. Have you had many problems with the game?

Have you had many problems with the game?problems..... oh yeah. sometimes the grappling hook can be a little twitchy, nothing major though, just minor stuff. like when you grapple onto somethin and you are flyin towards it, and if something is in the way, you stop right in the middle. also, after you use the hook and you hit a wall, you automatically jump, which caused a minor problem on a portion of a level. there is a small beam that you can get on to grab a weapon, but i grapple onto the thing, i jump over the beam completely. and the animations of getting up, well yeah, they are at times, very unrealistic. like you'll be surrounded by VS's or something, one blows you to the ground and the rest blow you to kingdom come, only to get up unscathed by those attacks and only harmed by the one that made you fall. also, the rolling akrid, one would hit me to the ground, and another would roll towards me while i'm trying to get up, the second attack just pushes me to the side a little.... but overall minor problems, great game. on my scales a 4.5 out of 5.

It's kind of wierd with my 360. I'm not sure if this happens with everyone, but for some reason when Lost Planet is in the disc tray, the main fans don't run at all (you know, the ones that make most of the 360's noise). Because of this, my game freezes every once and awhile. This is especially annoying since you have to start from the start of the mission if you quit it. The fans work fine with Gears and whatnot, just not Lost Planet...
Besides that, I love the game so far. Online is a blast, though a lot of the people I've played with are extremely annoying and abuse the annoying voice filters. Single player is hard (for me, at least) so it'll probably take me awhile to get through it. It's fun though, but the story is kind of bland.

I suck at online play (lv 12). Gears and Lost Planet are not good cross-training.

single player was awesome, especialy the level with the giant worm.
Multiplayer is fun, but it doesn't have enough maps to play on, plus there are a lot of people who don't speak english playing the game. It's only bad when you're playing on teams though.

~_~If My Mind Can Conceive It and My Heart Can~_~ I love it but im not done with it yet. Im only on mission 4. Ive been playing Halo2 online. Plus the screen causes problems for my Lost planet game play. I was at the mission where that big freaking worm or w/e just comes out of no where and I cant even see because the screen is to damn bright. -___- ~_~Believe It, I Know I Can Achieve It~_~
