Well, it would be wise to make good use of this guild. Let's bring some life in, won't we? It's off topic free for all, so, why not?
I love tea. It's a great alternative to soda, and there's nothing better on a cold winter's day than a warm cup of tea with plenty of honey!
One of my favorite teas is Madascar Vanilla Red. I can't recall the company's name off the top of my head, but it's absolutely divine, especially with a healthy helping of honey in it.
It tastes just like vanilla, but not too sugary. It's just right. Very yummy, very smooth!
But my absolute favorite tea is mixed by a tea shoppe far from my house. ^^; It's called "Once Upon a Time" that is so...spectacular. Caramel, chocolate, a bit of mint, and a garnish of almond. Absolutely wonderful. Tastes great with honey--just about all tea is great with honey to me XDD--and full cream as well. I love that tea, and that tea shoppe even more. heart I need to get a bit of that brew for my house. *sigh*
I know it's an obscure topic, but any other tea-lovers here at the Harem as well? ^^

I'm not the biggest tea fan sweatdrop but I do happen to like a blue berry white tea (by Arizona) that someone once bought for me. I was surprised I liked it. But an odd addition to the topic is, almost anything is better then soda xd Soda is a corocive (sp). I mean, if you pour it on a car...it'll eat the paint...and then people drink that!? Since I've stopped drinking soda, I've lost 10 pounds eek

The Catnip tea should only be drank when you are about to go to sleep; it's quite the sedative... eek ~
However, the Mint Green...well, it's flavoured Green...so...that's a morning tea...~

Haha, PP2, yeah, soda is absolutely terrible. But... I can't help drinking it every so often. I like it, and I don't want to give it up completely, but...hey. Ten pounds? Wow. That's pretty darn good. heart

Losing ten pounds would do her good. Though she rarely drinks sodas to begin with. >>
Miss Momo is such the tea fan. She especially loves chai. With three lumps of sugar and a dash of milk. <33
She likes to try out various tea lattes too. Like a pumpkin spice chai latte. <3

Sorry, I've never seen a company that sell it in packages or anything like that. I buy the herbs straight from this great store downtown here; I take a coffee filter, put some Catnip in, fold and staple it shut, and poof! there's my teabag~

You just buy the herb itself loose? No special blends or anything? Hmm. Sounds great. XDD I never thought of using a stapler though to keep the teabag shut, since, I don't know, I don't really trust commercial staples. I always either tied the tea bag nice and shut with a bit of washed string, or recently, I used a glass teapot with an infuser. I'll try and see if I can get my hands on some catnip and mix it in with my sleepytime blend. Sounds wonderful. ^^ :heart Does anyone have a few little special teacups? My family has a rather plain set, but they're still nice nonetheless. I think next Christmas I'll ask for a nice little blue teacup for my teas. Maybe for my birthday as well. Hmm... Or maybe next time I go to that tea shoppe, I'll buy one that isn't so expensive. sweatdrop

My dad gave me this big mug with an inspirational quote on it....can't remember what it says for the life of me, but all the same, it's what I drink tea out of. It's big, too, so I can make a lot of it at once. Not like, a bowl big, but just a bit bigger than my other mugs~

Miss Sushii loves tea a lot! Her current favorite is Spicy Chai, yes, as strong as possible with lots of milk and honey.
"Once upon a time" Sounds delightful! ^^ I hope I can get it from somewhere...
Sometimes I like plain earl grey, and sometimes I drink Japanese Sencha and sometimes I like to brew tea of rose buds and drink, with milk and honey of course. ^____^ Yay for tea!

sigh~ we don't really have any decent tea services... I remember my mother's aunt gave me a lovely japanese set in the thinnest porcelain, with Momiji decor in orange and red...
But we kept them in Sweden in case they'd break during the transport.I have a glass cup of my own though. it was a birthday present from my mother. I'll have to tell her we need a new service for the tea.

oh, Do you have any nice recipes? I like caramel scones with clotted cream with my sweet teas (which means just about every tea I like to eat sweet scones with. XDD). At the tea shoppe I go to, they make divine chicken salad sandwiches. heart _ heart I love them. Mmm, rich caramel scones! Gah! But they are so heavy on the stomach. sweatdrop But so delicious. *drool*
