Over the years, I've learned to like foods that I never used to like. But there are some foods that I absolutely hate and have hated since childhood. For example, I don't like eating mushrooms unless they're practically swimming in some sort of sauce or they're a topping on pizza; I can never eat them on their own. When I was a little kid, I ate a steamed mushroom cap and hated the taste. Still hate them.
I don't like celery either. I know celery doesn't taste weird or smell bad, but it's the texture that bothers me. It's kinda hard to explain. But whenever I see someone eating celery, I can't help but cringe. xd
Aside from fish, I don't like eating most seafood. Crab, lobster, shrimp, scallops; you name it. I especially hate squid *shudder*. Squid always makes me want to vomit. Eggplant, too.
I like most foods, though, but I tend to like spicy things. My brother and sister always comment on how the food I cook always tastes spicy. I also have a huge sweet-tooth. Put me in front of a dessert table and I'll go crazy XD.
So, what about you guys? What are some foods you hate/don't like eating? Why do you hate them? What foods or types of foods do you like?

I. Don't. Like. Tofu.
Ick. To me, it tastes like air, meaning that it doesn't have much of a taste.
I also refused to eat meat pie shortly after that update came up. XD
Another thing I refuse to eat: Spaghetti squash.
*shudders*
I like most seafood, though. 3nodding

D= I don't understand how ANYONE eats seafood. I'm just a vegetarian- I don't eat any meat. Except for beef, and pork, and chicken- I was being sarcastic. ._. I'm a... Sea food-atarian? ...I just made up a word, didn't I? u.u But anyway... Ohmicod, I remember once, my grandparents were eating COW TONGUE. My grandmother had it in a pot, and she came up to me with it and was like, "Feel it! Feel it! It's a tongue!" And in my mind, I was like, " gonk SICK b***h!!!"
._.

I can't stand seafood. I like fish swimming in water, not in stomach acid thankjooverymuch. Seafood I like sweet things. And things covered in sweet things. I hate veggieables. And pork. And most beef. (But not most burgers and not roast beef.) I like chicken. Always. And I don't like bugs. Not alive, not dead, not on my plate.
Not dipped in chocolate. Not in Pop Rocklets. Not in whipped cream. Not even steamed. Not from a can. Nor in a pan. Not in green moss. Or BBQ sause. Not dunked in milk. Not wrapped in silk. Blood? That won't go. Not even Type O! I do not like to eat buggers; I do not like them Snipe I Are!

Funny story: my mom used to cook this really good dish for dinner, but I never knew what it was. Unfortunately, I was stupid enough to ask. It was cow tongue stew. I never ate it again afterwards. xd
The moral of the story? If it tastes good and you don't know what it is, don't ask. You're better off not knowing. xd

When I was really young I ate Wedding Soup without knowing spinach was in it. A few years later I asked my mom and she told me. I still eat the soup, I just pick out all of the spinach which is like...all the soup.
And pork. EW. I hate it and will never eat it.
I agree with you on seafood. I ate pretty much all seafood, but stale fishsticks aren't that bad with tartar sauce. And I'm always wanted to try shrimp, just never at a party. gonk

I gave up most meat types, 'cept chicken and seafood. I love most seafood. I don't like the thought of eating things I could cuddle with: piggies, sheepies, um . . . cows? I adore garlic. And ice cream. Though not together.

I use to tell them I was allergic to peanut butter. Now I didnt know how I could be allergic or what would happen. But when I said that THEY BACKED OFF. I now know that peanut allergies are bad stuff. So I told them I was allergic and they would always give me jelly sandwiches MMMMMMMM.
