I believe Utada is one of the best singers ever^^ She sings Japanese and English real well and her music is the closests to perfect there is 3nodding Final Distance moves me to tears crying

I love her music. It's so heartfelt and honest. Her lyrics are just amazing and I can understand them. I love that she grew up in America, it shows that people who do, still have hope in making it big in Japan. heart

I don't like her voice. I prefer 浜崎あゆみ(Hamasaki Ayumi) and 田中理恵(Tanaka Rie).

Hermonie Urameshi I don't like her voice. I prefer 浜崎あゆみ(Hamasaki Ayumi) and 田中理恵(Tanaka Rie). Both of those singers are fantastic as well. Ayumi is so very popular still, it's sort of unbelieveable. blaugh

Yes, Hikki has a very nice voice. I've listened to previews on iTunes (I don't have an iPod, but a Sony Network Walkman MP3. pirate ), I really want to get her CD that was released in the U.S., "Ultra Blue". For now, my favorites are Passion and Colors.

hieiandkurama I am in love with her new song, Flavor of Life, so beautiful!! Wasn't that one of the main songs in "Hana Yori Dango II"? Hmm, maybe her voice is good, but the song didn't quite fit in the drama. (I will be crusified if I say anything negative about her here crying ). Anyways, it was quite annoying when the song started like "Ariiiigatoooo..." when the characters were chatting or staring each other. But her singing style is more unique than for example Hamasaki's, I believe.
