Sive mulled slowly over picking the fresh raspberries in a little known field around the Temple. She had been at the temple for a long while now, but had only met two malu; Thayne and Cymeck both who had faded away over time. She had grown in that time and was a young Maluess slim and graceful.
She had filled the makeshift basket with the last few berries she had delicately plucked from the bush, and she sighed. She was lonely and wished she could share her sweet nature and sweet berries with someone anyone.
Leaving her basket she went to the nearby stream to wash her ruby stained maw and scarlet paws. She bent down and gentle rubbed her muzzle on a smooth stone. The trickling of the stream was soothing and she let her thoughts drift.

Wencleslas had been quietly spending his time in the forest lately. He had lately had the urge to be alone or just explore in peace. Of course, lately he hadn't seen another malu in some time, which didn't really bug him, but did make him wonder.
As he continued to walk on he hopped over a fallen tree gracefully and rather sophisticated. His elegance and noble attitude was greatly affected by his god, but he was also rather fond of acting in the manner he did, which was very courteous, noble, and polite.
Still, Wenceslas was not always known for his attitude, but for his markings. Since they were so bright and obvious he was hardly ever able to conceal himself which did bug him as a child. Still, now he had grown to accept his coloring and wore it proudly. Though, all the other malu he had met were down to earth colors and could easily blend into the surroundings. Which was a big reason as to why he was often temtped to be alone.

Hearing the light paddings of another, Sive finished up washing her face and she looked up. Seeing no one across the stream she looked behind her to see a rather regal male Malu clear the fallen tree.
She was surprised that after all of her musings of being alone, that another Malu, a very handsome male no less, would charmingly appear. She was also pleasantly surprised that he was brightly marked as she was. Out of the many Malu she had met most were of more natural or muted colorings.
She gently cleared her throat as she slowly padded over to the noble male.
"I am sorry if I am bothering you if you wished to be alone, but it being that I do not see many Malu over in this part of the woods, I couldn't help myself but to barge over. My name is Sive good sir and seeing as I had just picked the ripest and sweetest berries, if you would care to join me in tasting a few. "
She stood in front of him, not quite blocking his way, but enough to grab his attention. She had become shy in her loneliness and looked away after she ended. Involuntarily she held her breath waiting for his response.

Wenceslas hadn't really been paying attention to his surroundings until he was caught off guard by the new maluless. He blinked a little surprised at first, but quickly calmed himself and stood like a nobleman.
His ears perked listening to her as he ran his eyes over her markings. They were bright, and vibrant just like his own. A smile came acrost his face as he looked to her after she finished her offer.
Giving a curt nod he replied in a rather king-like voice," you are no trouble at all my dear. I was just somewhat startled, I hadn't even noticed you. Still, I would most honored to join a maluess as yourself."
Some malus would say that Wenceslas just acted the way he did to get girls, which was quite the contrary. He was pretty much born with his personality and way of speech. Ever since he was a pup he had been polite to everyone that came to him with his utmost ability.

Letting go of the held air gently, Sive looked up and smiled sweetly. She was so happy!
"Well my good sir, I am so honored and happy to have such a polite gentleman join me for an afternoon snack! Just over behind the large bushes is a basket filled with the red ripe raspberries"
With that Sive practically pranced to her favorite spot in the wood, with such a noble Malu!. Coming to the basket she gently pushed the basket toward the malu as he came to the clearing.
"Please don't mind me, but may I inquire to your name?" as she bent down to take a juicy berry.

Wenceslas was rather surprised at her suddenly active personality. He expected her to still remain shy for awhile longer, but obviously he had thought wrong.
Still, he was glad to be accepted so easily by the maluess and followed after him in a much calmer state. His ears twitched as he came upon the berries, she was right about how ripe the raspberries and was even more delighted that he had accepted her offer.
Sitting himself down he glanced down at the berries once more and then up to her after she had finished speaking. A friendly smile ran acrost his face as he spoke," I am glad you find me so polite. Your a rather sweet girl yourself." Once more his ears twitched and he looked up to her, no one had asked for his name in sometime. His smile became more thoughtful and gentil as he said simply," Wenceslas. Such a an old malu name isn't it?" He chcukled," I don't see why my mother named me it. How about you, what's your name?"

"Wenceslas. It is such a fitting name, such a wonderful name!" Sive cooed over his name. It really was perfect with a kingly ring to it, which fit his personality very well.
She blushed.."My name is Sive, it-it was given to me by a Malu named Thayne who found me one day in the labyrinth of the Temple. I believe my colorings had a bit to do with it, but he never told me what it meant. When I was little I was obsessed with trying to discover the meaning, since I couldn't remember a family and it was the only thing I could use to define myself. Now I know that it is actions and thoughts which define you not a name."
Her blush depended when she realized how long she had rambled on her name and herself. Looking away "Sorry I talked so long about me. I-I just don't have very many friends, since I guess I look different, and when I get a chance I talk far too much. Lets talk more about you, what were your parents like?"
She daintily took up another berry so she wouldn't keep talking, and didn't have to look the male in the eye.

Looking up to her he smiled rather surprised that she took a liking to his odd name. His right ear twitched once as he leaned down and took one the berries. The maluess was quite right, they were as ripe as could be and he obviously enjoyed it.
Still, he looked up to her and watched her as she spoke and nodded randomly as she continued taking in what she said. Wenceslas noticed her blush and nervousness and calling her speaking rambling, but he shoke his head and smiled again.
Lightly tilting his head to the side wondering if he could catch her eyes as he spoke," Sive is a pretty name. This malu, Thayne, is good when it comes to picking out names, without a doubt." Remembering her speak of his home he sat up a bit more proper and spoke again," I grew up in a small spot in the forest. I generally just lived with my parents until I matured enough to leave." He shrugged," I guess I was rather deprived of a real life until now, that may be why I am they way I am, but I don't mind it." He gave a rather prince-like smile to her hoping he wasn't making her nervous.

Gathering her wits she looked back up at him as he resumed the conversation. She smile sweetly after Wenceslas complemented Thayne "Thank you! He is a very kind Malu." She blushed again as their eyes met, and she looked back down at her stained paws.
Catching out of the corner of her eye the male straighten up when he started talking about his childhood she looked up again and tried to hide a smile. He is so cute in the way he is relaxed and then becomes formal...
When he flashed a wonderful smile she couldn't resist but smile back, such charm made her uneasiness vanish.Growing a little bolder she remarked on his past. "It sounds as like a fairy tale childhood, peaceful until fate takes hold and a great adventure is in order!" Out of the blue getting excited, she jumped up, "Did you ever want to break free to carve a path for yourself? I mean travel beyond this forest and Temple to see the world, like to the Sea?"
She looked up through the trees to the blue sky with a sweet expression on her face as she thought of the different wonders awaiting in the world.

Wenceslass blinked in surprise at the maluess' new enthusiasim, but he took it graciously and smiled brightly," your a very curious maluess. I've never seen the sea before, only the lakes around this temple actually. I guess it would be nice to get away from here.." His voice trailed off as he know imagined the scene that would be set.
A lot of malus of many years had told of the bright, blue and majestic water that went on until the horizon and how you would fall off the edge if you got to the horizon, but that was just a myth. As he thought his began to relax once more, but he quickly straightend himself and looked up to her again with a delighted smile," it would be splendid to see what is outside this forest, wouldn't it?"

Sive looked back at the male as he straighten up. She was glad that he relaxed around her, it was comforting somehow. Her ears perked when he mentioned seeing the outskirts of the woods. A big grin crossed her face "If I decided to wander alone to view said outskirts, would a wonderful strong gentleman such as yourself care to join me?"
She was a little surprised at herself for being so forceful and almost flirty. A little abashed she blushed and looked down at the forest floor, noticing her paws were again stained.

Wenceslas' ears twitched rather surprised by the shy maluess' boldness, but he was rather flattered. Giving another kingly smile he gave a curt nod and looked to her with his bright green eyes," I would be more than honored to escort such a maluess."
He felt an odd feeling when he began to become more comfortable with her. Sive was very cute and just a sweet little malu hidden within her shy exterior and he had interest in breaking that outer shell. So, still watching her he said," as long as you would want to take me."
