The black pelted god was mumbling and grumbling to himself. A frown upon his face, he was tired, agitated, and hungry. "K'Anatak must've gotten better then I thought..." he spoke aloud. Yes, his brother was close, around here somewhere, but he wasn't sure where. Katana'k doubted he would catch his brother this day.
But another day..he would be sure too.
His silver armor glinted in the dwindling rays of sun, for it was setting, soon it would be twilight hours, he loved the night. He blended in so well, it made him feel not alone. He had pride in himself, but during the night, he felt like it was enhanced. Like he could do anything.
Perhaps even find his father one day.
He was the God of Pride, and he was alone...and he hated it.

Khari, having just recently left, walked around, a bit depressed. She felt.. empty without any of her friends there, but perhaps she needed to be dependant on herself now.
She walked light steps, that could hardly be heard, her movements graceful, before she stopped aruptly, shielding her eyes from a foregn shine, that was faced towards her eyes. Moving to the left, she examined her accessories. They werent.. hardly big enough to make a shine as big as the one she encountered.
She peered around, before her eyes setlled on a black lion, quite a distance away. "Might as well, meet him." Khari thought to herself, as her wings flapped gently to fly over, to where this foreign lion was.

He wasn't thrilled today, his armor sometimes sent a glare into his eyes, but they were used to it. White and shining like the moon, they tormented his brother so many times as a cub, sneaking up to him in the night, white eyes just watching him like a demon. Katana'k chuckled to himself, those were better times. But he had grown since then, he had Pride, and he needed to settle a score with his 'dear' brother.
Something caught his eyes though, a figure, graceful, far away, coming closer. Not running either, flying? A goddess? "This should be interesting," Katana'k spoke to himself. It had been a long time since he had been around company, let alone a female, let alone a goddess.
Oh the possibilities.
Though he had pride, and morals. Who would have thought it? "Afternoon..." he spoke with a smooth tone. He wondered what this goddess' realm was.

Khari saw his gaze turn to her, as she landed. So he had noticed her, had he? "Good afternoon. I hope you dont mind me intruding?" She said in reply to his greeting, as her paws lightly settled on the ground, and her wings retracted back to her side. Her white coat, stood out in contrast to this black god.
She noticed his smooth tone, and looked at him, with slightly suspicious eyes. "So I asusme you are one of the gods too?" She asked, tilting her head to observe him. He certainly had the qualities, and his aura.. emitted something different, than the other gods she had met.

Katana'k smirked to himself. Such a different one this goddess was, so gentle she seemed, but in her frame there was a presence of self pride, he admired that. Any who held pride in themselves was grand, except unless it got too much, then they would become conceited that he knew.
"You aren't intruding my dear, no worries on that, and yes I am. I am Katana'k" he said smoothly bowing his head to her, raising his head so his white eyes settled on her form, "God pf Pride. Might I ask for your name dear? A goddess such as yourself must be of a grand realm, for their is pride in your heart..."
This would be interesting. The white pelt of her form made him think of his brother...oh, how much fun it will be to find him, and settle his score.

"Hello Katana'k, then." She gave a low bow in return to the courteous manners. "God of pride? How interesting, but certainly, I assure you that I have no grand realm. Goddess of dreams at your service." She looked confused however, when he mentioned pride in her heart. "Shouldnt every lion take pride in their hearts? No matter what? Although there are those who take pride in what they do, and.. I cannot certainly say I approve of what they do." Her faced turned into a slight scowl, before she realized that she still had someone to attend to.
"..But anyways, I'm being off-track." She shook her head regretfully. "Forgive me for asking, but what would a god be doing out here?"

"Pride comes in many forms, and can be expressed in different ways me dear of dreams. Some take pride in themselves, yet some live without pride, and thus are lost, and fragile. I try to find those, and help them, or try to teach those who take their pride too far...a lesson. It's all in the matter of how pride is held in someone's heart and mind."
Dreams? That was interesting.
"Dreams must be far more entertaining, though I am out here, searching for someone. A white form such as yourself, but related to me by blood. Tis a family thing my dear, but what might one as yourself be doing out here all alone?"
He was quite curious as to the reason why.

"So I suppose you are the type that likes to keep a balance? Take from those who have too much and give to those who have too little, would be the right and simpler phrase." Khari's eyes sparkled gently.
"Dreams - isnt very interesting. After all -- dreams submerge from your own sub-counscious, isnt that correct?" Khari made a gesture. "I think pride - is similar. Everything is based solely on yourself in the case of pride and dreams."
"Family issues? I've seen more than a fair share of those." She nodded, but she had only seen, never experienced it for herself. She hadnt understood the problems of family. Solely -- was because she had no family to begin with thus the cause was wiped out, and there was no problem.
"I am free." She said simply, shrugging. She wasnt tied down by anyone or anything. "It doesnt matter where I am. There's nothing waiting for me, thus my wandering out to an area such as this."

"Perhaps, perhaps not. Pride and dreams are derived from yourself correct, but can be affecting by those around you. An example being myself, as a child I didn't care much about what I did. But the thought of someday finding my father put a great pride in my heart, to be something worth revealing to my father when and if I find him. Dreams can be the same, affected by desires...but yes, I suppose they are quite similar." Katana'k said with a nod.
"Though physically we appear to be somewhat of opposites," he said with a chuckle. His black pelt versus her white pelt were quite the controversy.
"Free is nice, but nothing waits for you? No my dear," Katana'k said with a shake of his head, "Something waits for you somewhere, you just have not found it yet."

"Almost every aspect of your life - even your physical appearance is derived or affected by everyone and anyone around you, is what I believe." Khari's voice was faint. "But I do hope that you find your father one day then? I have no doubt - that your journey will be made easier since you have the ability to fly and look from the land and sky." She tossed her head, her bangs parting sideways gently to the side.
"Albeit, physically we do." Her eyes - slowly roamed over the black pelt of the god. "Black and white - are certainly the most oppsite that you can get." She gave a dry laugh
"I dont believe that anything awaits for me, not in the least." She gave a rueful shook of her head. "But it's nice of you to say so."

Katana'k smirked and chuckled and took a step closer to her, tilting his head, his white seemingly glowing eyes peering at her own eyes. Why did she doubt that something may wait for her somewhere? She had pride yes, but...this was strange, for her to not think anything waited for her that could possibly be grand.
"I cannot tell the future, nor do I know anyone that may, though do not rule out the possibility, that something grand will come along to you this way," he said smiling, flicking his tail. Sometimes he made silly rhymes, bad habit he kept from cubhood he guessed. He would always tease his brother with them as well.
Katana'k then took a step back, to give her her space. Didn't want to impose on her after all. "So you are free my dear, have you found anywhere interesting upon your travels?" He was curious, he wished to know what she might have come across during her journey.

Khari, tilted her head up straight to stare directly back into his eyes, a feirce look barely concealed in hers. Slightly surprised at his white eyes that seemed to illuminate from the rest of his body, she backed down a step.
"I wont then, but that possibility will be directly in the back, furthest corners of my mind then." She said giving a charming smile.
Khari, fondly remembering her past travels, too fondly - that she hadnt noticed the god's retreat. "There's many more like us - gods and goddesses that we have yet to meet. All that exhibit different impressions and personalities." She had LOVED meeting others that were like her but.. "Its not to say that lions that are wingless dont have their good points. Their actually very interesting." Khari added in hastily.

"Others?" how intriguing, quite intriguing. Perhaps she had come across his father...or worse, his brother. He growled in his mind at the thought of such a lovely goddess falling to the company of his idiot, fool-hearty brother. His brother was too nice for his own good, and would soon bite him soon enough when Katana'k caught up with him.
"So interesting, mortals are as well. Especially those I've heard of with gifts of seers," he said with a nod. Quite strange how sometimes gods and mortals might mix and bear into this world a life mortal but powers of an immortal. Even moreso, how those mortals with no ancestry of immortals could gain such a gift.
"Perhaps I may meet more of us over time, though I doubt any shall surpass how I enjoy having you in my company. For once I feel as though I am not labeled in your company, which I do appreciate."

"Others." Khari nodded enthusiatically. "Oddly enough." She pondered, having just made the connection was confused in her mind. "Is there a shortage of female goddesses? I've never seen any of my own gender." There was a slight pause.
"Interesting, mortals. Seers sound especially intriguing, as so they have a greater power almost equal to us -- but easily surpasses over the regular mortal." She gave a questioning nod in return. "Perhaps we should find one, and ask how they came to be?" Her voiced, laced with curiousity now.
Khari blushed slightly, at his words. Another god had mentioned that, but she failed to see why. "I believe everyone should be kind, to others than themself." She glanced at the black god, in front of her. "Its a pleasure to meet you too, Katana'k. I must say, your company is also enjoyable - moreso when you've compared it to others that I have met."
"But I dont understand your meaning of 'labeled'. How so are you labeled?" Khari's face took on a slight frown as she tried to contemplate what had happened to Katana'k in company of others.

"I have been labeled quite a few things, mostly by mortals that glance at my form, running and not bothering to stop to know my name, I hear them while they run, a monster it seems I am, my eyes seem to frighten some. Its a pity really, sometimes I do wish that I had the black eyes of my brother, then perhaps I would look more 'normal' to others it seems."
He flicked his tail and sighed, yes, many a time he was misjudged. He wondered if his father had ever received such a thing, or even his brother since he had gotten so large. Katana'k quirked a brow at Khari's mentioning of their being no female goddesses perhaps then besides herself, "Really? That's quite strange, perhaps some are hiding themselves as mortals, or care to be by themselves, secluded somewhere."
