Katsumoto_Ryusaki89 flashpoint Of course At gusto niya pa na tumulong pa tayo sa kanya? Like, ang loyalty rating nalang sa kanya is .1% nalang! I WILL NEVER HELP A THIEF!! THIEVES BELONG IN THE PRISON NOT IN THE PALACE!! I am proud to be the as you say .1% loyal. She was the best choice in the last election and should stay as the president. best? Let us take a look at her track record. In 1994, promising more jobs and sustained economic growth, then Senator GMA placed the country under WTO rule. The result: rising unemployment, low wages and job loss for millions of workers due to company closures, privatization, and the devastation of the agriculture sector due to the influx of agricultural imports. The devastation continues up to now. In 2001, she promised to work on a platform of new politics and pro-poor economic program. But inreality, the same old trapo politics remained while her economic policies bent further towards foreign, as well as to corporate and landlord interests. It was also during that time when she forced the passage of EPIRA which ensured the speedy privatization of Napocor. In response to the widespread protests against the PPA, GMA reduced the power rates by almost P0.85/kwh. Only to take it back later by approving Napocor and Meralco rates increases.Ironically, under a woman presidency, women have assumed increased burden with privatization of basic public services. GMA has further defrauded the farmers by misspending the P38B Marcos wealth in misallocating the coco levy to agribusiness in cahoots with Danding Cojuanco. From 2001 up to now, the GMA administration has embarked on a borrowing spree, pushing the government deeply more into debt. And aside from these new borrowings, GMA has perpetuated the policy of prioritizing debt payments over social and economic services, allocating almost 95% of our total tax revenue to debt service. The result: Deteriorating social services; lack of budget for economic development; VAT and more taxes.
The Arroyo administration is also a consistent human rights violator. Moreover, it is also as brutal as the past administrations in the use of force against legitimate protests as shown in the case of Hacienda Luisita, the summary killings of activists, the continuous scapegoating and human rights violations on Muslims labelled as terrorists, and in maintaining the war policy in addressing the struggle for self-determination of the Moro people in Mindanao. Its gross inaction in solving the killings of media people is condemnable. Moreover, the GMA administration has adopted a shameful policy of denying full reproductive health services critical to womens health and lives. Clearly, the records speak for themselves. GMA and the rotten system she perpetuates are more of a scourge to the people rather than a source of inspiration.

I think she raised taxes so that she can suppress inflation. Also, she borrowed more money and allocated like majority of taxes to debt service in order to rid us of inflation faster. You can't ignore the fact that 2003's inflation rate of 8.8% went down to 2004's 5.3%. That is just my approach as an economist, but don't get your hopes up in what I just said.
I have limited knowledge about economics.

Let us review the last candidates for presidents shall we? 1.FPJ 90% of class E citizen support 2.Ping didn't have a chance fo winning 3.GMA had the best chance against FPJ 4.Bro Eddie didn't have a chance 5.Roco didn't have a chance Also, all those programs could have worked if we just had supported her instead of whining and whining. Nothing would ever work if we just sit there and whine all the time. Nobody is perfect. you cannot have a perfect leader. I am only asking for a good one.
