Sealed Letter Selling System

This thread is more of a tip rather than a guide. All of us are rather familiar with sealed letters. But in as much that donating to Gaia and hoarding the letters would be a quick way to earn your gold, it is still not practical for you sacrifice real life currency for a fake one. >.<;;

And so you really need to earn your way to your sealeds. there are a lot of ways to earn gold but you will not find it here. What I'm going to show you is how the prices of sealed letters work.

Requirements

There is only minimal requirements for this.

arrow Enough gold to buy 1-3 sealeds BEFORE the release of the collectibles date which is around the 15th of the month. The more the better.
arrow Good timing
arrow Real patience. You're here to play with the patience of people. So don't be impatient or you'll beat the purpose.

Mechanics

The system is really very simple

exclaim Acquire letters before the release of the item inside.
exclaim Sell them when the items are released. Be sure to sell them when they are freshly released and all the impatient and envious people wants to get a hold of the new items. They sell usually higher than the price before it is released for sellers don't want to lose the money they invested on it.
exclaim Sell ALL of your letters. (or at least leave one for yourself if you like). The more you sell, the more profit you'll get.
exclaim Wait for a week or so. Keep the gold that you've earned and don't use it.
exclaim Buy your letters back. They will probably have fallen down in price. But you have to wait if they have not. Don't freak out. They will eventually fall down usually at the release of the other letter of the next month.
exclaim Keep your letters and be patient. They will rise in price in the future. You can choose to collect the whole set and sell them at year's end or sell them after a year or two have passed. Up to you. But never ever sell them for gold just because you want to buy a common. That is the most unwise thing to do.
exclaim If you want to use the item inside. Don't open it. instead, downgrade it. Look for the item inside that you like in the Gaia Exchange Forum and exchange it with the letter. Of course, they need to pitch in 500g-1k for letters are worth more than the item inside.
exclaim It is better to have letters and collectibles than pure gold. Pure gold is only good when you need to buy something but letters and collectibles are like an investment. They grow in price without you even knowing it.
