Nickname: Sam (Call him by his real name and die!)
Race: Human-Great Barracuda crossbreed
Actual Age: 19
Outward Age:13-15
Eye Color: Light blue
Skin Color: His skin color is a regualr light pink but since his blood is blue places that are normally red or darker pink (like lips, cheeks and fingertips) are blue.
Hair: Naturally a pale blond but he dyes it bright red.
Overall Appearence: From a distance, Sam can be easily mistaken for a normal human, albeit maybe wearing blue lipstick since his lips are very blue. Upon closer inspection, his fish related traits are more visable. His hands are webbed, appearing as if the fingers are almost flipper like, and he makes no attempt to hide them. The webbing does not hinder him any, except in tasks that requite fingers to go through things, like using a scissors. Also, protruding from either side of his jaw, slightly furhter forward and down from his ears, he has a pair of spiney silver and blue fins. His ears themselves are pointed and long almost like an elf's ears, although he doesn't have a speck of elven blood in him. His final fishy trait is a pair of pointed teeth that poke out past his lips from his bottom jaw. His remaining teeth are also pointed and quite sharp but are small enough not to be seen when he closes his mouth. Sam makes no attempt to hide any of his non-human traits. He has three piercings in either ear (and they
always have arings of some sort in them) and he wears clothing that probably would be described as either punk or rock star-ish, usually in dark colors. He has a set amount of clothes but he'll mix up his clothes to make different outfits. He is always wearing some kind of wide wrist band or bracelet on his left wrist, and is never without his necklace, although he often hides it by tucking it away. Since he isn't held together completly on his own and has some spells perminatky cast on him, those whoo can sense/ see magic notice its presence sround him at all times.
Likes: Water, motorcycles, going fast, fish, being free, the colors silver and blue
Dislikes: Scientists (look out Kyou!), cats, sea food, being bored, being called small, little, Fishy, or by his full name.
Personality: Most people would probably characterise Sam as a fiesty teenage boy who like sot take risks, has a temper that's a little too quick, a bit antiscocial, and very rude. All those things are true, but there are otehr aspects to his personality besides those on the surface. Despite the fact that Sam is extremely gullible and sometimes has trouble comprehending what other people are thinking or feeling, he actually has a talent for philosophy and science. He actually developed his own religion based on his own struggles with his identity, which he is extremely devoted to. Sam however, doesn't let his more deep and sensitive side show that much so to most people he is just a rambunctious teenager with a bad attitude and a motorcycle.
Job: Janitor at Durem University
History: Sam was the product of a expiriment to mix human genes with a completely different animal. He was the eleventh expiriment attempt and the only one to survive to a independant stage where he didn't need to be hooked up to lab equipment to survive, although he had a couple spells cast on him to keep his body from killing itself. He was named after the scientist who created him and donated the human DNA for the project, Dr. Xavier Black. Sam's childhood was full of expiriments on him, some of which were very painful. Dr. Black kept up the appearence of a caring father figure for the media and other scientists but when alone with Sam would simply treat him like another expiriment. Sam hated it and conspired to run away ever since he was little. When he was ten he got a chance, and he took it, runnign away from his scientist/ spellcaster father. He has since spent his time learnign how to actually liv eon his own in regular scociety. He also spent quite a lot of time trying to get into highscool, and then promplty dropping out. He went through an identy crisis after his attempt at highschool which is when he discovered his own religion. Although it isn't related to any actual religion it appears to be somewhat true as some of the rights Sam "discovered" actually to influnce things or have magical effects. Whether he mistakingly discovered magic or religion he doens't know or care. The past year he found his job at Durem university and has been spending the money he earns there to pay off the ramshakle wooden house with a forest he bought. He calls the house "Deathwish" to get the idea of how mony repairs it needs done on it before it would be considered remotely safe.
Family: Dr. Xavier Alexander Black, Status- Disowned as a father or anyone pleasent from Sam's point of view.
