Crits please. I'm going to be digipainting this soon, and it'd be cool if it didn't have any horrible issues with the foundations before I start building on top of the sketch. domokun

:0 I didn't even know you drew, Zahir.
I really like the heavy, chunky style you've got here. whee
The only thing that looked a little funny to me is his right hand (our left). It kind of looks like the thumb is coming out of the center of the hand, and not to the side, if you get what I mean. I may be off though, since I know this is just a rough sketch of this.

Better yet, nowadays I draw for a living. cool
Though that said, my recent personal art output has been effectively nil. I'm trying to work to fix that. sweatdrop
Dunno if it's clear, but that hand's s'posed to be curled in a fist with the thumb laid across the outside. But now you point it out it looks kind of wrong. I'll prod that with sticks and try and clarify what's going on with his digits. domokun

You draw for a living? Where do you work? What do you do? :0 If you don't mind my asking.
I'm trying to find work as a graphic designer, but I'm not getting any luck.

The only critique I have is that it lacks movement. I know that's kind of a flaw of the style - you do very heavy, blocky things, grace is not one of your strong points. Still, some variation would be nice - for instance, some less "thick" bodyparts - thin wrists with those huge arms, or just something instead of one huge brick of a drawing.

The Iconoclast The only critique I have is that it lacks movement. I know that's kind of a flaw of the style - you do very heavy, blocky things, grace is not one of your strong points. Still, some variation would be nice - for instance, some less "thick" bodyparts - thin wrists with those huge arms, or just something instead of one huge brick of a drawing. So, f'rexample, making the sleeves fit tighter or narrowing the waist or ankles would help with that? I was trying for a bit of thick/thin variation, but obviously my brain was going HE IS WEARING ARMOUR SO IT MUST BE CHUNKY AND CLUNKY. toadstars: I work as a junior artist at a company making videogames for mobile phones. cool
