The water was so much cooler than the land this time of day.
But it wasn't cold either. It was actually sort of warm at the surface, and this was why the deeper waters of the lake were much better now. Kimaji didn't seem to realise, but even the deeper part was starting to be less deep. Swaii was leeping again, probably tired after a rather long hunting expedition, and again, the adolescent failed to realise another thing; her father was growing old.
She was oblivious to so many things, but she knew enough to keep her going; where the mice went, how to catch rabbits, and she was even getting closer to caching antelope! But for now, all she wanted to do, was swim, or at least at the moment. Right now, this was the game, dive in as deep as you could, and try and find a fish. She'd learned these weren't monsters by now, and also that they could be eaten, but were hard to find, they hid, and some had been dying.
Finally, though, she needed a rest from paddling around so much, and to catch her breath properly, and so, a wet Kimaji made her way back to the land, but once out, she didn't bother to get dry, and just flopped near the edge under a tree, so much better for keeping cool.
It was odd for any other, perhaps, for a place like this to be so hot.

-Softly the god settled onto the lightly familar lands. They were drier, quieter then before, but nonetheless he felt comforted for some reason. Whether it was tiredness that had brought him to the land, or a strange and silent urge to see the Flower once more, he didn't know. But he only rested a moment before he was moving again, paws carrying him along as his eyes touched mildly familar sights.
The place had seen better days.. in fact it was almost depressing how much had changed and died since his first visit there. But thoughts of the future didn't plague the god. He was a god of hope and joy not worry and logistics.
Ivory tail tip flicking gently he carried himself with feathers held high to give shade. Yes.. he'd rest soon.. eventually. Maybe he had come for both?-

At first, the adolescent was oblivious to the god's approach, though he was probably oblivious to her for now aswell. But soon, he'd be noticed, for asthe place was drying up, the leaves were drying and drying and breaking, the branches were wearer ad seemed to often let parts fall on the ground, and it was this that let her know of him.
Soon he was close enough to Kimaji to hear something, and her ears perked, curiosity quickly taking over her mind as she looked towards where the god was comming from, tail flicking, lifting many dry leaves. She got up, peering around the tree.
She was still soaked, her fur madded and clinging to her body, but at this point, the mere idea of getting dry was now further than ever, and she took a few steps foreward. It didn't sound like a mouse, they were very quiet, and they didn't sound big.
"Hello? "

-Lim didn't seem bothered by the small ruckus that proceeded and followed him, and only when words actually sounded did his lilac ears flip upwards, swiveling to try and catch the sound.
Peering around he saw nothing but scenery, and he stopped in his tracks, returning the call.- "Hello there."
-He ruffled himself up, posing himself in one of his most dashing poses. The voice was feminine from what he could tell.-

That voice rung slightly in the adolescents mind, and she blinked. That was familiar, and not from long ago. She remembered.. white and pink, and purple.Oh, yeah! When she wandered away from the forest, she'd met two lions! And one changed color. What was his name again..?
She scrambled away from the tree compleetly to give a better look around, getting into a more visible spot herself. She flicked her ears, and blinked,fianlly able to catch a glimpse of the other through the leaves. Puple... Hey! She did know this one, right?
"Liimb..uko? " Shethrew out the gues, that at least sounded familiar.

-He'd known the voice right away not to belong to 'the flower', but his eyes widened softly as another familar sight came to view. Grey and white features might have grown gently in size, but he knew the lioness none the less, and was obviously pleased when it became apparent that she knew him too.-
"Well, well, well. I didn't imagine I'd see you again." -Softly he turned, pleasant smile taking up shape upon his maw. And digging through his memory, he finally gave a soft playful bow, before padding to close the distance between the two.- "Hello again Kimaji. You live here in these lands? Or are you simply enjoying the thrills of traveling about?"

Yes, it was him! The half-dry tail flicked, and a smile moved onto her maw, blue eyes surveying the god again. He had changed, but nt so much, either. He was a bit lfuffier-- er, his mane was a bit bigger, but not by so much either. She hadn't gotten that different either, though, she did speak a bit less more like a cub! Wich was probably good for Swaii.
"Hi Lim! " She took a pace or two, almost trotting, then sat, wet tail curling around her forepaws. "Live here! Well, used to. Swaii 'n Kimaji live more out in the forest now. " More out in the forest was actually far from the deep. They had lived at the caves nearby, but Swaii had decided to move, and she sort of had an idea why. But she still came here to swim and drink, enjoying the water while it still existed.

"Ahhhh, I see." -He nodded knowingly. The forest was a beautiful place, one that made him think of the dream goddess he'd met there once before. But even without that, it was surely a step up from the deteriorating lands that surrounded them currently.
And he winked to her playfully, teasing gently.- "Just can't keep your paws out of the old home though huh?" -Eyeing her slightly damp pelt, he hazzarded lightly.- "Taking a bath?"

The young lioness grinned. "Nope! Kimaji likes it here. " She swished her tail, then looked down at herself at his question. Well, she was wet, that explained it. "No. I just like swimming. "
She got onto all fours again and shook herself a bit, forgetting she might get the god a little wet. Her fur stood up now, but she could take care of that in a bit. Besides, it usually lowered on its own. "Does Limbuko like swimming? "

-Murring a little, he nodded in soft agreement, eyes turning to the scenery once more. This place didn't strike him particularly, but there were places he seemed to like and be drawn to more then others. So he very much understood the sentiment.
Eyes flicking back to her as tiny dripplets of water assualted his coat, he laughed a little, not doing anything to rid him of the bit of moisture.- "I like to swim very much! Even if it does take awhile to dry out my feathers afterward."

"Everything is different now, tho. " She shrugged, looking around and the trees, their leaves rying. She was quite sure some were dead, there did look like a couple were leafless. Why did this happen? The young lioness had never seen rain, though sometimes from the mountains, she could see those nice, fluffyclouds in the distance, but never here.
But then Limbuko mentioned his feathers, and Kimaji remembere something; she'd nevertaken notice of his wings. She looked at his sides to see them, but failed to find any real wing; just.. feathers. "You have pretty feathers. " She stated, smiling. "But why don't you have wings? " She Asked, moving to the side a bit as if to look better at where his wings should be.

-He ruffled the feathers forwards as they came under inspection, spaying them out softly. And at her question smirked lightly.- "The don't have wings I'm afraid. Feathers, but no wings."
"I can fly without wings however. Levitation sort of." -His eyes turned to her curiously, waiting to see if she'd ask for some proof of the claim.-

"Oh. " She looked at the colored feathers, flicking her tail. They were different than other gods feathers, too. They were longer and.. fluffier. They were prettier than Momo's, as her featherswere pretty plain. "Is levi.. nating like flying? "
But then she oticed something else funny on the god; his tail. He had something on his tail. it was longish. Like avine, only it was alot greener, perhaps because i wasn't in lack of water, or maybe he cleaned it. "Whatsthat? "

"Hmmm.." -He pondered softly how to explain it, when suddenly her wet coat hit him.- "Ahhh... you know how you can kind of float in the water? It's rather like that, floating in the air. Much easier then flapping wings."
-But like a child her attention was already somewhere else, and he smiled with amusement to the grey lioness, flicking his tail out to allow her a better inspection.- "Grapes. A sweet food. Would you like to try some?"

"That sounds fun. " Kimaji nodded, though for some reason she thought flying was funner; perhaps cause it was something she'd only done once.
She looked at his tail again as he moved it so she could see. Grapes? Was it the green thing or those purple balls? Maybe they were beetles. Sweet? "Sure. " She'd never eaten anything very sweet before.
