Everything I've seen or heard about Nate's kitty says that he's one black cat.

leopards DNA calls for them to either had light fur (brownish or yellow) but a common male genetic for leopards is to have black fur or dark brown. The spots are brown and can be seen on black leopards, so yes, Nathaniel is a leopard

I agree that nathaniel is a very pretty black leopard and I can't remember if he is the only one who is mentioned that is specifically black or not. But this is a very interesting topic ! biggrin

Micah is a black kitty... Elizabeth, I remember reading somewhere (coulda just been a fanfic), is a black kitty...

According to the book series though, only Vivian is a black leopard. I thought Nathaniel was a regularly colored one.

I was simply asking what type of leopard Nathaniel was. Was he black or not? I got my answer, I wasn't being rude when I asked that. You misread my question. I was not asking if he was a leopard or not. I already knew he was leopard. I simply wanted something straightened out. How was that being rude? They always say thats hes pretty dark so he can be ether or.
