Due to me being one of the testers for this shop, Byrne came to me in the youth stage. During his rebirth he has returned to egg stage and been reborn. Location The court of gods, the Pantheon, has been reinstated. The Twin Crown has resurrected his title and assumed the throne once more. The downstairs of the shop has completely changed (the upstairs hall remains the same). The outside of the shop now appears as a multi-statued, carven obsidian building with great stained glass windows. The expansive gardens are now dry and black, the earth blasted and ashen. The water beds and pools are now lava flows. Destruction reigns, and all churns with the decay and fall of life. The dragon statues in the throne room are as follows surprised ne of ash, one bone, one bronze, one wood, one glass and one obsidian.   Room  Byrne's Room has a great bronze door with the graven image of a phoenix rising from the flames. The only color outside the rich metallics are the emerald eyes, that seem to dance in the graven fires. A feather serves as a handle in which the door can be opened. Inside is a great expanse of emptiness. For the room was unfinished before Destruction took hold. Preferring the expanses outdoors, as well as finding himself in the occasional closet, Byrne has spent little time here. The room itself is of a ciurcular shape. Not entirely round, but more than not. It is in disarray, feathers and dust and leaves piled up into a makeshift nest that the god uses. After Harmodious was returned the first time, Byrne's egg was replaced into the room with great ceremony. It was swept clean and tidied by the Keepers of the small *Phoenix temple Tsai and Tomo. These two have created order where once a rather chaotic mess ruled. Also housed in this room are a rather surly donkey, called 'donkey', and an out-of-work actor with a rather dramatic nose.

Godly Associations Gianfar: Gianfar speaks of things using words that Byrne has no clue about. He therefore likes Gianfar very much. Lucius:Byrne had looked to Lucius as a rather big brother figure-despite the others' often changing moods. Since he betrayed Harmodious, Byrne has not seen him at all. Kishara: Helping find a puppy for Byrne to offer to Destruction, Byrne was grateful of the help and the company. He was able to recognize a similar sort of soul in her. Eamnonn : At first angry about Ea's mistreatment of Beryl, he soon forgot about that, and finds Ea amusing if a bit boring. Beryl: Beryl is a mother figure to all, but tends to fuss much with Byrne. When Destruction reigned, she carried him off to her own conclave for safety's sake. After his 'escape', she found herself more occupied with her own children than with one that had fled. Lisana:Feeling the empathy of his former host, he finds himself quite fond of Lisana. Eftemie and Chaeval were friends prior to their godly bondings. Some of that feeling has carried over. Byrne has a playmate in Laughter. Harmodious: Wanting to please the Creation aspect of Harmodious as one would a parent, Byrne pledged to protect him when felled by Lucius. His apparent failure pains him. As Destruction, Byrne is terrified of Harmodious. He played some small part in reducing Destruction for the moment, but there is little way in knowing how he feels about his 'father' now. Illumin: Byrne discussed once the need to remember followers and attempt to please them. It was a lesson that Illumin seemed rather befuddled by. Nevertheless their relationship is friendly. Byrne sets great trust in Illumin's decisions. The rather stodgy aspect of Light tried to bring comfort to Byrne on a singular occasion of despair. Although failing at the time, kindnesses freely given can often around come to gift the giver. Revei: Knowing him to be one of Beryl's most faithful protectors gained this young god many brownie points with Byrne. Morpheus:Finding him rather dreamy and amusing, Byrne has not seen Morpheus in a long time. Nergal: Having met this god during the Reign of Destruction, the Phoenix could probably not quite place him now. Their conversation about toys and ponies may come back to haunt Nergal one day. Kaelin: Not having met this aspect much, Byrne has little to form opinion on.

 The God-Killer  Loom That was the very word that stuck with Byrne as he contemplated the appliance that others referred to as a "fridge" or "Refridgerator". But he knew better. It was not an appliance at all, but a malevolent force that devoured gods and the very things of stars. It was the god killer. Vanquished finally through the efforts of Beryl, Revei, Morpheus, Beryl, and Eftemie. The God-Killer fell to ruin, spawning the miniture Buttercup.

 Magic Circle At Youth stage, durations (of spells) can last from 1-3 days, they can affect up to about 5 individuals, and can do so at any range within sight. must be within sight. Area effects can affect one area(like a house, a hill, a field)
*500 Years - The cycle of rebirth never truly ends, but repeats itself in a (normally) orderly fashion. Every 500 years, the Phoenix builds for himself a great nest of fragrant and various herbs, annoints himself with spices and then immolates himself. This fire burns brightly and wildly for days before finally it dies out. Amongst the ashes of Hyssop and Jasmine, Cinammon and Clove... you will find an egg. From that egg will eventually hatch the new Phoenix.
*Slow Regeneration - The ability to restore damage to self. This is a slow process, serving only to assuage minor cuts and bruises.
*Minor Pyrokinetics - The ability to ignite small fires or create sparks. These can survive on their own for several days, but are of themselves flammable and best to be tendered. These have the same effect as small candles, although many together could provide some worth.
*Minor heal (Destruction based) - Can be used on slight wounds, cauterizing and purifying the damage. Tradeoff is the pain associated with sealing cuts that way.

Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar On Valentine's Day morning, there's something different about the room in which you rested. At first it's difficult to determine just what this difference is ... and then you see it.
A small black ... heart? It seems to suck in the light that's around it, sending out tiny tendrils of shadow that hover about it as if a form of protection. To touch this heart is to feel a chill upon your skin, one that seeps into you and lingers while your body tries to adjust.
It's obvious who sent this "gift", as there is a small black card next to it. The silver inked script upon it reads:
The Card May this serve as a reminder that love can flourish anywhere, even in the darkest of places.
Weaver of Shadows Eirnae Slytherin-Natenhar Darkness bubbles into a near solid sludge to the side of your doorstep, and little arms draw out a black basket similar to that which held a feathery Halloween gift not so long ago. There, upon a dark pillow, rests a ... cabbage?! Yes, a cabbage, one wrapped with a festive ribbon tied into a bow. Oo-ookaa-aay ....
Ah, there's a card tucked into the leaves. Maybe this will offer some sort of explanation.
The Card Memories breed truth. With the truth comes time.
May this give the first, as old pacts rewind.

Companions  Buttercup is Byrne's most faithful companion. Spawn of the dreaded "god-killer", like her master, she rose from the ashes of destruction. Her method of speech comprises of clangs and clicks, opening and shutting her door. Within lurks green gasses that consume small items. Preferring cans and crunchy things, she can be very picky for a refridgerator. . .  SpazSpaz is an E-Mouse. Inquisitive and chaotic, the impulses of Spaz are uncontrollable mischief and potential destruction. If there is something to be gotten into, be sure that Spaz and Ratchet have indeed gotten in it! She is otherwise exceedingly loving and gentle.  Ratchet This is Spaz's mate. A perfect match for Spaz, Ratchet is as mischievious as the better half. Often abandoning common sense for thrill and discovery, logic and manners go out the window when there is some sort of shiny or intrigue to nose out! At heart he is kindly and a bit of a goof. He normally means well, but gets lost in the moment.  PyrePyre is a Volette! Tiny and spry, Pyre is as spritely as she appears. Her needle sharp teeth are vicious to the plants that she loves to eat, and she often gets lost in the woods on one caper or another. Just because she looks too cute to n**, doesn't mean she won't if the other party is in need of one!  PhoenixPhoenix is a Pixiekitty! Phoenix enjoys warm days sitting in the window.When not sleeping, she is often out searching for her next mousy meal. Luckily E-Mice are NOT on her menu! She will spend endless amounts of time chasing the wind, or flowers, or even her tail until dizzy. A fitting companion indeed for the Youth god, Byrne.  GingerGinger is also a Pixiecat. Because every lazy cat has another even lazier one laying against him/her for warmth. Ginger fills this role well. If Phoenix is out adventuring, she is the one stealing all the sunshine and grumbling that he's not there as a pillow.  ChickieSometimes what you see is exactly what you get. With a Fobb, a content ball of fluff is precisely a content ball of fluff. Preferring the simple pleasures of a comfortable and sun laden bed, he spurns all things that eschew the simplest of sensations. Food, Drink, Petting, and soft, squishy, malleable things to smoosh. Perhaps he is the wisest of all!  BasilSupposedly fearsome beasts, this particular type of Cockatrice defies all mythology. Lazy to the point of narcolepsy, he is neither awe-inspiring, angry, or prone to turning things to stone. Although on occasion he has been known to cause flaking of the skin. When he concentrates really hard. Really, really really hard. Which is really, really rare.  Flynn!So many days spent envying the ability to hang by the tail upside down in a tree! So many hours trying to emulate the task! Flynn is a happy-go-lucky but at the same time incredibly slothful companion. It is mostly in his dreams that he finds adventure. He and Byrne can often be found hanging together. Literally.  FlaimStentorian and rather fussy, if Stardusts could wear tweed and smoke pipes, Flaim would be right at home. He wishes he could be referred to as 'professor', but such is not his fate. Alas.  EterniaScatter-brained and easily startled, she spends most of her time hiding under Flaim's belly, much to his consternation. She may also find shelter under various objects. This leads to her being unintentionally underfoot at the worst times. Luckily she is very quick on her feet.  Kamchatcka

The Host  Name: Chaeval Age: 29 Birthdate: 3/7/77 Eyes: Hazel Hair: Red Skin: Fair Chae is a girl that is disillusioned with the empty gestures of life. Going to work, coming home from work, eating, sleeping...all of this routine is a mire that she dreams to be free of. When she receives the gem from Harmodious, she is wary and defiant about the burden, but is also intrigued with the promises therein. When she realizes that the spirit within the gem is but a child, she embraces it and the position of "mother" to Byrne's rebirth.

-anonymousThe Phoenix legend is most usually accredited to Greek, Arabian, and Egyptian legend. Sometimes as its own entity, other times as a servant to the sun. In the orient, the Phoenix is considered a symbol of luck and good fortune. One of the four original directions. Symbolizing rebirth and renewal, there would only ever be one in existence at one time. When the bird sensed its demise, it would build itself a pyre and depending on the legend, would either lay an egg in the midst of the flames...or cast itself into them to be consumed. Amongst that fire would a new bird be born. An interesting article can be found here...

Servants Aoidei, singular Aoide. From the three origianl muses, these mini-immortals are the "voices" of the gods they serve. They are servants of old, who praise and attend the temples, advise to a minor degree, and see to their masters needs. The mouths of their gods to the mortal followers. They can fly, clean, cook and sing. They have no immediate powers themselves, save immunity to death by passage of time.  AidanAidan is a wandering Aoide that has yet to find his way back to his Master. Little is known about him other than a whimsical and moody disposition which can make him charming, churlish and chide-worthy all in a single turn. Notes: The shell at side is an instrument in which to blow melody. The alicorn may/may not retain power granted by his Lord. It is not revealed at this time. Amaranth
The voluptuous curves house a rather surprisingly mothering figure. If Hestia were a demon, it would be named Amaranth. Domestically she is practical, neat and very much an authoritarian. Leave a spot on a dish and risk her wrath. And don't get her started about taking out the trash...
Notes: Normally she has a white-lace apron on and weilds a dangerous wooden spoon that she uses to chastise the unclean.  Harvey
Harvey has become Amaranth's Victim ward. She lords over him with a wrathful smothering. He takes it very well, as he is a sweet-natured and easy going soul. Give him a pumpkin, and he is content.
Notes: His pumpkin is replaced regularly by Amaranth. This is probably the only time he will be of a differing mood. He mourns his pumpkin passings as one would the loss of a goldfish. He has a graveyard set aside for those pumpkins that have passed on.
