His father often called him a Chaos Blade because he is unpredictable and catlike in his attitude.
Personality:
Seriousness is not always in his nature and his unpredictability often lands him into trouble quickly. His laidback sense of humor which gets him out is easily seen in his eyes. Befriend him and he is loyal to a fault.
Plots and schemes tend to roll around in his head even if he rejects acting upon them the first time he thinks of them. They have to ripen for him to see his options in accomplishing the goal attached to them. He doesn't mind getting into trouble and taking responsibility for his actions, but it has to be worth it to him to do so. Otherwise, the plan has to remain in the background until he finds it worthwhile enough to attempt. It's the challenge more than anything else that usually gets him to act.

Race: Entirely Human
Likes: Purples, teals, golds: Pets which are friends to her more than animals: To laugh and play harmless pranks to make another smile
Dislikes: Forgetfulness: Clutziness: Being disregarded for being less than perfect: Crying
Eccentricities: She is entirely human, but feels a need to blend in. To do this, she often wears hats that look like ears, belts that have tails. Usually this is when she's the most nervous about something. She thinks that if a person can laugh at themselves, they can survive anything.
Strengths & Weaknesses: She loves to laugh and finds amusement in most things. Extremely forgetful, and clutzy. Frequently she trips over nothing, falling in a tangle. She has lists hanging everywhere in her apartment to remind her to do the things most people take for granted such as doing laundry, shopping, etc. She can manage this unless she forgets her list which usually has her own address written at the top to remind her of it. She can find it, but can't always remember the address itself.
Books:
Eftemie found Kinjin's shield when she quite literally tripped over it, landing in the muck and mud it lay in. She carefully cleaned the shield and hung it on the wall, appreciating its uniqueness.
Then she began to look for the owner.

Kinjin met Caer the first day he went to the HQ to look around. He also met Mashiro and after talking a few minutes he is plotting to get Mas to help him cover Caer in mud at some point. Even if it takes him until he is an adult or longer to do so. Of course, he is saying nothing of his plans to anyone yet. He likes Caer and thinks he needs to loosen up a bit.

Mashiro::
He met him at the HQ the first day after seeing Brifin sit down under a tree. Kin had been tempted to prank Brifin, but Mas stopped him. Kinjin's planning to pull Mas and possibly Brifin into pranking Caer at some point. It will take awhile, but he liked him from the first. And he'll still try to prank Brifin if not Mas both at some point.
Gullivan or Gully::
He liked him after meeting him at the HQ. Gully sees the fun in things and most likely Kin will pull him in on some plans he's concocting.
Arzo::
He likes him also, but he thinks that Arzo is a bit timid. He'll try to draw him into something or other and become friends.
Brifin::
He likes him and plans to use the feather that Brifin gave him in some way in a plan to prank Brifin. Kinjin likes irony and thinks that since Brifin gave it to him, that it would be fitting to use it. XD

This lantern Effe gave to Kinjin because he liked it.
This bamboo bowl is below his shield on a table. She gave it to him as a gift. She thought it looked nice in his room.
This little statue is on the table also for luck, although he bought it himself.
This is a plushie of Effe's dream Sachiel, a sweet creature though very clutzy. Effe thought the plushie would bring him sweet dreams much the way the real Sachiel has her.

Indigo::
He was not exactly given to Kinjin, but sort of attached himself to the boy as a foal. He's not broken or branded, but he allows Kinjin to ride him with or without equipment. It's a matter of mutual trust and acceptance for both of them. Indigo would protect Kinjin with his life if necessary.
Zephyr::
She has attached herself in much the same way to Indigo and Kinjin. She also allows Kinjin to ride her without a bridle or saddle, though she will accept the equipment from Kinjin when necessary. She would protect Kinjin if necessary, just as Indigo does.

The Story - Path #2 taken
The sun shines! It floods the fields that glow with butterflies, flowers, and long grass. The Jasmine Fields are always beautiful this time of the year.
It?s wild here, like you. Your new clothes are a mess, your carefully arranged hair is likewise in shambles, and you know that your parents are going to kill you when you get home to the holding. But playing with the peasant children requires quite a lot of dirt, and if you try to be careful about it you get called a rich pansy. Spankings are much more preferable then the name-calling.
Trees pose no threat to you; the person you just tagged is the only danger. And then you hear the call of your mother from your house. Amazing how one woman?s lungs can carry that far out if she?s anxious enough. Apologies made all around you grab your horse and high tail it back to the semi-castle that is your house.
Your father, surprisingly, is the one waiting there for you, and your mother has disappeared somewhere into the house. He helps you down and ruffles your hair affectionately. He was young once too it seemed, but your mind rebels at the thought of that. He wishes you a happy birthday and hand?s you a toy wooden shield with your house emblem on it, your eyes sparkle happily as you look up at him.
Now you are ready to begin!
I remember that shield. It had the family crest on it and went extremely well with the wooden sword I used for practice with my father. Each dent- each gouge- every mark in the wood from the wooden sword in my father's hand was like a prize- a coming of age that I earned though I knew he held back. That much was obvious, but fingers were jarred from the strikes that landed there. Sometimes I could barely hang onto it and arms and ribs bruised as a result of the times he got past it and to me. But each time I did block his attack was an achievement. Something to be proud of and only made me strive all the more.
It was glorious. I miss it.
