The remnants of the office building are a miracle of nature. Something here has occurred that makes the internals of this building seem like you have been taken to a totally different world. The beauty and splendor of this area are amazing. Every last one of the walls have been covered with a thick layer of moss, vines and plants which have all sprouted from the base of the building and entwined their way up to the roof. As for the roof, well a gaping hole may leave the top floor unprotected from the elements but it also leaves it open to birds of all variety to nest and create a habitat there. The gaping hole in the roof has seemingly burst water pipes which were never shut off after the evacuation- the water, having eroded the floors on every level of the building now creates an artificial waterfall effect, flowing from the roof to the basement in a spectacular sight of amazing beauty.The water is then reused- flowing from one drain to the main tank, then it is pumped to the top floor where it begins to flow again...

*Retloc made his way slowly into the office building...he gazed for a moment at the artificial waterfall, then headed into his room. Everything was covered in foliage. Oddly beautiful. He pulled down the cot, then propped Tao and Shinzo against the wall on it.*

Taos' eyes squinted open, where was he? He looked around and saw a familiar face unconscious beside him. He shuddered for a moment before recognising little bits and pieces of the surrounding building- had he been in a time warp and V2 had grown old and covered with branches and moss or was he really back at the original Site B- his precious Site B....

*Retloc was busily trying to make some sort of fire when he glanced up at Tao. He noticed that Tao's eyes were...slightly open!*
Tao?
Are you okay?
*Retloc stood up and made as if to unbind Tao, then hesitated. What if Tao would try to escape or attack him?*

Taos' eye burst wide open and he smiled, a huge friendly grin before the awful truth struck him, the smile vanished and all that was ledt was a look of pure distain.
Tao frantically tried to speak but the words he heard in his head came out as jibberish. He tried to piece this puzzle together, Chi had told him about Retloc- Ret had ordered him to be experimented on and now that Ret had finished the experiments he had brought Tao here to his most beloved place to finish him off- why else would he not have seen Retloc in the room he was in? Retloc was too ashamed to show his face. Why else would Tao be bound? Retloc didnt want him escaping. This is what Tao now accepted in full belief as the truth although it couldnt be farther from it- Taos' shattered mind was still unaware of X's return- of what had gone in since then and even the company who Retloc worked for- for all Tao knew Retlocs Organisation could have been of pure evil- based on torture.
Taos' expression then turned to one of that which a child would give his mother if she told him his pet rabbit was dead- sadness, dissappointment- the harsh reality having struck Tao like a hammer blow to the head he simply let his body slip and fall to the floor- not making a sound, not saying a word he just lay there.

*Retloc was somewhat surprised by Tao's behavior. He'd expected him to run, fight, ask questions, but this complete lack of....anything? He put his hand on Tao's shoulder*

Tao shrugged his shoulders to remove Retlocs hand from them. He felt so betrayed- he wasnt angry or bitter or hateful. He was just let down. Betrayed by one of the people he trusted most in the world. The paranoia about everybody else he felt when in reality it was the only person he truely trusted throughout the entire span of time he had worked with Retloc. Tao once again tried to speak, to say something, to say anything but the words that escaped his mouth barely made an audible noise, he mustered some strength for the moment,
"Betr....betra..... BETRAYER!!"
He screamed out loud. The words echoed into the cold, dank shadows that were cast around the room as Tao laid his head back down to the cold floor he gave up, he was finished...

*Retloc sat back, running his hands through his hair, bewildered.*
Betrayer?
*After...after all that, all he went through. After fighting monsters, destroying buildings, dodging bullets.... Tao..called him a betrayer? He felt as betrayed as Tao sounded...*

Tao moved his feet, he began to push himself forward towards the corner of the room. After a little effort he made it, he curled up into a tight ball his hands and legs still tied and as he did his eyes wandered around the room and then to Retloc...

Tao stared but then moved his eyes to the wall, he began to speak silently to himself,
"The....they.... they'll... c-c-c-come for...... m... me. They.... always...."
He broke off, forming that many words had drained what energy he had left, but he kept telling himself in his mind- he kept repeating the same thing- the one thing that kept him alive, kept him from utterly giving up, they will come for me, they always come for me...

*Retloc felt, in spite of his sorrow, a lump of pity in his chest. He approached Tao slowly, then unitied his straight jacket*

*He went and sat back down, then muttered*

Tao was bewildered. He was so confused. He sat upright in the corner, the straight jacket sleeves hanging loosley he crunched his face up and forced his eyes shut, he grabbed his hair with a firm grasp. His deluded mind was in chaos right now, he began to punch his head, the sleeves of the jacket cushioning the weak blows even further,
"St-st-st-st-stuppid-d-d... h...had.... no no NO! Head... st-st-st-stupid head..."
Taos' anxiety that he had built along with the chemicals in his system from the experiment had given him a stutter- his words were mismatched in his mind and he knew it but there was nothing he could do to stop himself but he continued regardless,
"W-w-w-wont... work...."
He stuttered the words quietly, still proud enough to not want to appear like an idiot on front of Retloc... he calmed before folding his arms and resting them on his knees which he had drawn to his chest. He lowered his head and remained silent...
