I was just wondering if anyone's read Edenborn, the post apocolyptic sequal to a book I can't remember the name of written by an author I can't remember the name of.
I recommend the book if you enjoy novels that don't have a light at the end of the tunner, however, I recommend reading the first book before reading the second, though in my opinion, the second is a really good stand alone by itself.
A general summary of the book is two fist fulls of genetically altered children to resist the new Black Plague are beset by morals, ethics and my favourite, religion imposed by their "Mothers" the alpha set of BP resistance humans who because of their hyper-immune system can no longer reproduce.
I love the bitter twist at the end and havoc caused by past happenings that have since fractured the original set. In my opinion, I'd actually read the second book first and it reads more like a mystery/suspence novel.
If anyone's read the first could you fill me in? I've lost my copy of Edenborn and the Chapters doesn't have it or the first book and Ii've tried ordering but the place is stupidly under staffed.
