I know that LaiDoll is a dollzone carrier so I decided to take a peek there.
[ I've read the "anyone ever bought from dollzone?" thread and sadly, I couldn't speak mandarin Chinese if my life depended on it sweatdrop ]
So anyway, I am hopefuly going to be buying my first doll very soon. ( hopefuly this week ) and I was interested in the DZ Xi without faceup from LaiDoll. I've sent LaiDoll previous emails but gotten no reply. I was just wondering if anyone here has ever or is planning on buying from them.
Also, does anyone know how much their 1/4 doll shipping cost is?
Buying from LaiDoll is only $1 more than buying from DZ, a nice ever $200 for a 1/4 doll.

Mhmm, I didn't buy from Laidoll, I'm buying my dollzone doll directly from dollzone. Dollzone does have a translator, Sunny. They replied quickly to my e-mails and even more conviently through MSN Messager.
I know shipping of a 1/4 doll to Canada is $40, I think its pretty much that price for north america, according to Dollzone.
(Edit: just looked at their website and wow are they more exspensive on the additions (Face-up, body make-up, etc)).

I heard dollzone's faceups aren't really good - passable, but not great. It's probably not worth the extra if you can get the doll painted by some really great artists on DoA. 3nodding I don't know much else about them, bit Xi is a pretty cool sculpt.

It depends who you buy them from. Laidoll's faceups differ. If Ulat does them, they're gorgeous. If Change does them, you're better off not getting a faceup done. Just make sure Ulat does the faceup if you order from Laidoll and you're good to go. Edendoll's are quite nice though. I don't know about DZ-Doll.com's. I also don't know where Emory of Junkyspot gets his DZs from- I assume directly from the company. The faceups he gets are very nice too. I bought Sett from Laidoll back when she/they were change on EBay. He's got a barely passable faceup (by change) that I'm looking into replacing as soon as I can find someone willing to copy it. I've also purchased clothes from Laidoll, and everything went fine.
