Here's the place to introduce yourself.
Tell us all about you, your interest in Corsets and so on.
Me: Originally the founder of the guild, I've loved corsets for years now and just after i bought mine i started a guild in the forums. And now all thanks to [Die Katze] heart We have a official guild! ^^
I live in Sweden so you'll have to excuse me for posting at weird hours. xd
I'm 22 and just celebrated my 3rd Gaiaversary. ^^ (Jan 4th if i remember correctly.)

Well, I am 'ze famouse' [ Die Katze ], the purchaser of the guild. Zetsuki and I are DEFINITELY going to co-own the guild, especially since she's the original creator. I think this guild has GREAT potential, and that it'll grow heaps :]
I've loved corsets since I was a little kid, and my mum started letting me wear them when I was 14 (it's when I needed one). I go to renaissance faires, so that's particularly why I wear them, and sometimes even for comfort.
I'm also in Musical Theatre at my high school, which is why I'm making a new corset (a 1912 period corset) for The Music Man. I'm a high school junior (so that means i'm 16 xP, 17 in June). I like lots of other things. Don't be afraid to ask me, or send a message my way and ask me!
I don't bite, I promise. 4laugh
my...either second or third Gaiaversary (most likely second) on this account will be this june. I've been on gaia since '03 and I've loved every minute of it. Unfortunately I deleted my first character that I originally started with.
Oh yeah, and I speak German, if any of you want to try to have a conversation with me :]

Hallo! 4laugh I'm Mavelle, and as I like this name better than mine let's leave it like that XD. Well I'm 18 and I can't even remember when I started with my little and cute obsession for corsets. I have designed two, and bought other two and a bustier. I love all my corsets *-* wiii this is finally done! Great guild! ^-^ thanks for inviting me to it ^-^

I'm Vampiric Kitsune. My mule account is [House.Gives.Me.Joygasms]. I'm 17 and live in Massachusetts. I've been a member of Gaia since October 2004. I started my obsession with corsets in middle school. I saw an episode of Ripley's Believe It or Not! and saw a woman wearing one. I thought it was gorgeous and I've loved them ever since. 3nodding

Hullo all!
I'll just point to the loverly little avi name (which I amde up all on my own), and that's the name I go by here.
I'm 23 years old, but my birthday is next month (maybe I'll get a corset, who knows!). I'll be getting married this May, and I currently live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I gew up in Pennsylvania and I still visit there alot. I joined Gaia in December of 05, but there where many months after I joined that I forgot about it. Then I found it again, and here I am (I joined up because a friend of mine has an account, and it was a way to keep in touch after her car accident).
My little obession with corsets started when I was nine... that was the first time I saw Bram Stoker's Dracula, which takes place in 1897 (or is that 1896.. something like that). I've loved them ever since. My love of them grew through historical romance novels (hey, don't dis them please). I still don't own one with steel, but many with plastic.
In January of 06 I found out I had a herniated disk. So whenever it acts up I complain about it... sorry. You all might have to hear about it.
I also love long gowns, and long hair. In fact, my hair is almost three feet (one yard) root to end. I love it! Though, it does it caught in a lot of things... elbows, doors...
I could go on and on, but I don't want to give too much away.
PS. I'm a great reader, but a horrid speller. I apologize for that too.

I've done a lot of acting and such, mainly in amateur and local theatre.
My love for corsets came from being in lots of Renaissance-timed plays, which I would borrow corsets from people to wear (since I don't own any... yet >.>; I've been searching Renaissance fairs for a nice one). Anyway, soon I began borrowing (sometimes without permission xP) corsets from the costume shops so that I could just wear them.
Since I love the theatre, I've also done some costume design stuff, some with corsets, so maybe I can post some. They're more quick sketches to get ideas across though, nothing too fancy.
Um... I've been on Gaia for... almost two years (two years in April). I'm almost 16 (... also in April). Anyway, I'm not sure if I have any pics of me in my favorite corset from one of my theatre groups (it's gorgeous; it's reverseable, one side a gray-blue pattern with a nice green trim, the other that's royal blue/black striped.)

ugh. whereabout are you? you could always check www.renfaire.com for sites and dates for them and such. or just go to google and type in "renaissance faires" and you'll most likely get hits for sites of where you can find them.
I'm going to one a few hours away in April. I went to big bear this past september. It was funn.
