Rune. XD He's still active, and doesn't completely NOT want the power. He'd probably more of just use it to his advantage. o.O HOWEVER. I can't lie and say that his positioning as a leader in the pride would necessarily help. XD

He's a tricky character, and is allied with Mafa at this point. In otherwords, he'd take whatever power he was given and take it to Mafa. He's not a fan of the Maziko pride, nor his kind, and isn't particularly a nice fellow. His ultimate goal is to dismember the Maziko OR mess the pride up as much as possible with the help of Mafa's hyena crew, since they also dislike the pride.

As much as that could be a blow. XD

It might make things interesting, chaotic, and a fun plot to play out. The way things are going, no wonder there aren't any new people. x__x It's boring. XDDD *faceplants* Which was why the activity in EVERYONE dropped off for a while there, including me, Andi, Bane, and just about every other former member. Just a suggestion.

Kaze and I also agree that although you two might not LIKE the idea of having two kings and two queens, for whatever reason, whether it being just wanting complete ownership or whether you just want a normal based pride with one king, one queen, it might be good as far as keeping everyone stepping on each other's toes.

Lesse. Where to start. XD; Remember that this is the bare minimum. XD And even some of these facts might not be entirely correct. They're only how I remember them as they happened. x___x

Like Andi explained in the thread, Ausha, at the time of when Bane first presented the idea of the pride, was a cub or juvenile. Considering that he's also sort of.. runtish. XD; Bane agreed that he was in no position to take the lead as King.

Andi, the second person into the pride, had Ishara, who had a fascination with the bones and death and such. She was automatically pulled in, and somehow they made out an agreement about Isha taking the queen position. Hidalgo, who had a /thang/ for Ishara, XD followed, eventually taking position as King until Ausha was old enough to take over properly. Hidalgo and Isha had cubs, which took position of heirs and heiresses for some reason. xD

Later on, I remember reading a roleplay between Ausha and Isha about Isha presenting the idea of having two kings and two queens. Since Ausha was dominantly lighter, and Isha was dominantly dark in color, they would split the pride into two ruling pairs. Whether it was to keep Hidalgo and Ishara in power as Ausha grew older, or if it was simply an interesting idea that Andi and Bane ran with, I have no idea. I just remember reading it. At that time, I didn't have Hidalgo very active because I had Rune, who turned out to be much more interesting to play with his messed up personality.

Since Bane has admitted that she never really quite understood what was going on, and I only read about it, I'm not completely sure what all is going on either. I only know what I read, and whether or not that's still in place I'm not sure.

It's all.. really complicated. And the communication thus far has -sucked-. XDDD;;; Which is why everyone's so confused at the moment.

Wanting complete control has nothing to do with it. I just don't think she's been around enough to be a Queen. I really don't mind the idea of dual ownership unlike what you two agreed on and I'm not trying to attack Kaze at all but it doesn't seem fair to dedicated rpers.

I'm fine with that and whatever else was said here. I don't want the pride betrayed to the hyenas though, no way. That wouldn't be interesting rp, with the pride in the state it's in right now? It would /annihilate/ it. I kind of hoped things would get better, not worse : (

I always assumed that Ishara was just a temporary ruler the way I was told she was, I lost the plot where she started having heirs to the pride as well and having them lead at the same status as Ausha. I'm just lost, tired and confused.

It's all one big mess. : (

If it's me who makes the over-ruling decision then I'd love it if leadership could pass onto Tae and Swampie the way it was going originally, though seriously, I don't want to offend anyone or anything, I don't feel part of the pride anymore and haven't for some time either, that's why I would like new leadership. Kaze is sweet and got sort of dragged into the affair late but it would take some time to get up to speed with the state of the pride.

I don't want an argument, I didn't want an argument and that's why I'm trying to mend things a bit but hardly know where to begin.

Besides, I always wanted a somewhat peaceful pride, this isn't it, the idea of hyenas always plotting to murder everyone and outnumbering the lions 3 to 1 was never very appealing. Ausha would pass whatever meagre powers he had onto his son and put them in charge. Runai wouldn't need to acknowledge anyone as king or anything since the pride itself was never very solid and always fragmented. In character there is a lot of things that could change and such (along with plots with the hyenas and whatever else comes up)

But administration of the pride (mule and such), if possible, I'd give to swampie.

But yeah, other than that, I'm out.

I think... Since there IS the point of Ishara, Toshi, and Nkechi leaving, Runai hating the pride to begin with, and the others simply... Vanishing... Let's just settle this at - Duhushi and his mate rule, and then Ishara's offspring still in the pride can simply have higher-up positions. Like, lord and ladies. And if they have children, then one of their offspring can take their place as a lord/lady, the rest can just be dukes and dames, etc. But a big problem is, if we go by the rulings of the Pride/Pack post, the Maziko should have been dead long ago since there was such a large gap between posts. But meh, what can we do? Bring them back up.

As it stands, there are only four bloodlines - Ausha's, Ishara/Hidalgo's, Safiya, and Tuu, the latter two of which seem to have poofed big-time. So... Try to get more lions in! 3nodding -Steps off soapbox-
