it has beacome a serious case in the NFL whether or not the pats are as classy as everyone used to think they were. After Bellechec pushed the cameraman out of the way and gave his former assistant that little I just embarassed you and your team on national t.v. hug. And after coments by L.T. about the celebration at the fifty yard line. The question is now very clear are they a class act like we all used to think.

Yeah, I think they have lost some of the class they once had. But that comes with being on the top for so long. You start to get cocky and you get used to getting your way. Besides... Bellicheck... I mean.. he just looks classless lol. Like he woke up through on a hoody over his pajamas and hit the field lol. But He IS a good coach. He knows his football. And they havent started spitting in peoples faces, or getting into fights. So I do thing they are slightly classless with a downward slope... but they havent fully gone to the dark side yet.
P.S. The NFL needs to allow suits again.. what happen to the classy leader coach!!!

I didn't really like the fact that Tom Brady was throwing the ball in the 4th quarter, with the lead in the last game of the season in a meaningless game. I mean, just run out the clock by running the ball up the middle. No need to rub it in their faces by passing TD's while you're already ahead in the 4th quarter. Other than that, I don't really have a problem with the Pats. I like them better than the Colts that's for sure and I'm glad they've gotten this far. I hope to see them in the Super Bowl against the Saints.

First off, Belichick apologized to the cameraman on WEEI (Boston sports radiostation) and I think he also called him too. 3nodding

Second, as for the celebration..it was only a couple Patriots who decided to join in especially Ellis Hobbs. It wasn't the whole team committing s**t like that after the game. Another thing to keep in mind is that the Chargers were already running their mouths during the past week leading up to this big game. And last year some of the Chargers players were taunting the Patriots after their blowout win against the Pats. Fact is that there was a lot of emotion going into this game and in the end why shouldn't the Patriots be able to celebrate a big win like this especially since it was a playoff game. Should Ellis Hobbs been dancing on the Chargers logo? in my opinion, no. But what he does shouldn't make the whole team look bad because there were only a few players who decided to celebrate.

On strictly a classy level you have to like the colts more than the Patriots. Manning and harrison are two of the classiest Star players in he league. Now becoming included is Reggie Wayne. Also Coach Duncgy is definately tied for the classiest coach in the leage. He has a calm cool and brilliant demanor. Then you get the fly pretty boy brady who loves his hair more than anything else. I will say he is a great football player and leader, but he is not nearly as classy as some other players in the league. McNair, LT are just a couple that come to mind. I actually think the classiest player on the team is the linebacker Brusci. And their coach can't even compare to Dungy in class level. Seeing how Dungi and Herm Edwards reacted and seeing how Bellicheck(spelling?) and Mangini reacted that can not even be close to in doubt.

Nevertheless, Belichick shook Mangini's hand and honestly, I really do think they're still good friends.

Brady is not nearly as classy? I beg to differ. Brady is a class act for sure and he never has put his teammates under the bus like Manning has in the past. He prefers to practice rather than be making commercials (not saying it's a bad thing to do endorsements, but that's just Brady's point of view). Second, the Patriots usually get Tuesdays as dayoffs or something along those lines..yet Brady along with guys such as Bruschi, Vrabel, etc. show up. Get your information, right. I can I show you a ton of articles that can make someone think of Brady as a pretty classy guy who only cares about football, etc. Another example is that Brady was on 60 Minutes this past November and was asked what he would like to do the most in his life. He replied saying that he would like to be playing golf in Scotland with his parents. Then the interviewer asked if he'd want to do that more than lead the Patriots to the SB? and Brady said he would actually rather be playing golf with his parents. Second, in some ways Brady took less money when he resigned with the Patriots for 6 years so they could keep key players on their team. Other classy Patriots besides Bruschi and Brady would be Light, Izzo, Paxton, etc.

I thought this subject could bare to be revisited. Especially after Bellicheck (however that is spelled) and Tomlinson (ditto) talked during the week for the pro Bowl. They said they talked things out and they figured out stuff etc etc blah blah. Basically neither side is mad because they are in Hawaii. I still don't think this makes them classy... but they are not quite as despicable. especially after Brady talked to manning and gave him advice on how to play the bears. That pretty classy to tell the person that just beat your team how ti win it all. But like I have heard they have become pretty good friends so I guess that isn't so shocking. I think the Pats have raised themselves up to presentable. They aren't the class acts of the league.. that goes to the bears and Colts... like their head coaches they are calm cool and calculated while remaining humble. Its fun to watch really.

What is there a rule against wearing suits because I saw the 49ers coach in a suit + Del Rio they would've been fined or something if they didn't allow suits. A lot of people like it when coaches wear suits it makes them stand out like the head honcho YEAH!!

If Im correct his suits have the team logo on it somewhere in some fashion so its allowable for some reason. I think that its just a rule that states the coached have to wear NFL apparel .. thus very few suits are available lol. But the ones I have seen so far look classy and nice so yeah.. I wish all the coaches would wear them.

Stupid NFL apparel...why'd they make a dumb rule like that its just cheap advertisement I tell you cheap advertisement

I agree with you 100%. Its so at all times the NFL get advertisement and inside peoples head. Even if its assuring people will buy clothes from NFL sponsored brands.. the NFL will gets its share of the money. But I'm not that sore.. the NFL is a buisness, and as long as it keeps putting out a great product... I cant argue with them keeping that machine running smoothly.

Preacherauron, you have to keep in mind that not every Patriot celebrated on the Chargers' logo. There was only one Patriot that was doing that and it was Ellis Hobbs so don't generalize and say the whole team is cocky. Brady isn't cocky, Bruschi isn't cocky, Vrabel isn't cocky, etc. Overrall, the Patriots are a classy organization through a lot of their players and basically how they handle the business aspect of football.

As for Belichick at least him and LT patched things up. LT knows what he said was wrong, etc. and it's not like Belichick didn't speak to the team because he did address this issue after the game.

NFL dresscode...I say let the coaches where whatever the hell they want. Heck, Belichick may look bad in his hoodie, but he actually said he wouldn't mind having to wear a suit on the field. The guy even said he would like that too.
