By the edge of the forest there was a clearing for a large rivier that ran through. The bright rays of the sun sparkled off the clear waters where fish could be seen.
Kai hobbled out of the forest and leaned on a tree with a sigh. 'I went too far.' he thought sadly. He had a bite mark on the back of his neck that was bleeding. He still had his other wounds that hadn't had a chance to heal like the long claw marks down his side or the bite marks on his legs. He looked around the clearing to make sure that there were no enemies around.

Tulio basked in the sunlight beside the river. He hadn't noticed Kai emerge from the woods behind him. He was too caught up in gazeing lazly into the water.

Kai spotted another Ulaya sunbathing. He chose to ignore him for them moment. 'Noone else seems to be around....' he thought. He slowly walked over to the river since his body was in a lot of pain. He sat himself down by the waters edge and took a long drink.

Tulio was lazly trying to catch a tiny fish with his paw, but to no avail. Suddenly all the fish scuried away from him. Tulio slowly rose to his feet looking at the water, confused. "Why'd they all leave?"

"Probably because I'm drinking." Kai replied with a chuckle. He hadn't noticed he was right next to the Ulaya at the time he was drinking.

Tulio nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard someone speaking to him. "Gah! Where'd you come fro--" He stoped speeking when he noticed all the scrapes, cuts, and gashes on the Ulaya next to him. "What happened to you!?"

Kai grinned at him. "I went to visit an old relative." He explained. He dipped one of his paws in the water and slightly flinched from the pain it caused.

"Gee.. He's not part snake is he?" Tulio asked sarcasticly, recalling the time they were in that forest.

Kai chuckled. "Actually it was a she." he replied. He pulled his paw out of the water and began to lick the wound.

Tulio gave a nervus laugh. "Why'd she attack you? Did you guys have an argument?" Tulio wasn't usally soo inquizitive, but today was an 'off' day.

Kai sweated dropped. It was really a long story.."Well, she didn't attack me, but her friend did." he explained. As for the reason.....he didn't even want to explain that.

Tulio could feel that this was going to something that would take effort to pry the information from Kai. So he let it be. "Do you need help... or Something?" He wasn't sure how to help or even what to say at this point. He wasn't used to trying to be nice to others. He'd always felt they needed to respect him, before he could respect them.

"Nah." Kai replied before he went back to treating all of his wounds. 'This will take all day..' he thought sadly with a sigh.

"If you want. You don't have to stay if you feel like it's a chore." Kai mumbled. He growled in frustration at how many wounds he had to clean. He placed his other paw in the water and then jumped into the water. He stung all over.
