    STAR WARS: LEGACY EPISODE II FACTIONS
It is a dark time for the galaxy. The Sith have wrestled control from the Emperor Fel, with DARTH KRAYT on the throne, hunting down all opposition, especially the jedi, whom the emperor has ordered the complete genocide of.
Evading the Sith Starfleet, a group of freedom fighters led by FREYA STARSINGER harass the Sith holdings across the galaxy with the aid of the core fleet, while the Loyalist forces, still hoping to restore Roan Fel to the throne, establish a hidden base deep in the Outer Rim.
The evil LORD FERNO, under pressure by the emperor, dispatches remote probes to the farthest reaches of the galaxy to hunt down all threats to the empire, while plotting an agenda of his own...

Backstory: Long after the Battle of Endor, the galaxy as we know it is far different than we would hope to believe. After many years, democracy had met its match; not from an outside invader, but an inside one. Sabotaguing the Vong Terraforming process, the sith manipulated the galaxy to go to war against each other from the treaties it had made. A new order had been established, the Fel dynasty, and the Imperium.
The jedi were force to either create the Imperial Knights, or be put into exile for siding with the vong. For the most part, the Imperium was stable, but a new force was rising. In 130 ABY, Fel III found his throne under attack. Darth Krayt, who for almost a century had been building a Sith army on Korriban, had persuaded the Imperial Moff Council and many stormtrooper legions, to turn on the Dynasty, and assassinated its emperor. Upon the throne, Krayt pronounced himself the new Emperor.
The real Fel, knowing this beforehand, fled without a trace, taking the loyal knights with him. The Jedi met with massacre on Ossus. The Sith had taken complete control.
It is the year 134 ABY. Lord Ferno, the covert assassin who had worked behind the scenes and pulled the strings for this massive coup's success, has been building a weapon, and is one of the premier sith. No longer in the shadows, his presence threatens the galaxy's freedom.
Fel has yet to show his face, but loyalist forces have been beaten back to the depths of space, where they lick their wounds and rebuild in hopes of conquest.
The Jedi Order struggles to keep itself alive, as the hunter killer teams threaten to wipe out their existance permanently.
A group of Rebellious guerilla soldiers have teamed up with the Core Fleet, and pose another threat to the stability of the sith empire, named the Galactic Liberation Front, or GLF for short.

This is an AU RP. Alternate universe Role play. While we maintain canonicy as much as possible, we do have the ability to break it should the story prefer it. The summary of events have been broken down for you.

Non-Force User Information
For a greater majority of you, you will be unable to wield the force. Whether it be by choice or not, you basically cannot control the force, though it may still aid you without your knowledge.
Your bios shall be sent and approved by a mod. (( Des Voh, Cale Darksun or Nelowulf ))You should recieve a PM about your confirmation, or questions about the bio. If your PMs are disabled, your bio will NOT be accepted.
For your bio, you should include:
Name: Age: * Gender: Race: ** Main weapon: *** Side weapon: *** Affiliation: (Empire, Sith, Jedi, Community, other.)****
Personal Ship: *****
Short History: ******
Description: *******
Four Year Gap: ********
*Age must be over 21 to drink. We Card. Its required.
**You can be any race you want. No limitations. Hybrids are permitted under my scrutiny and sanction.
***Your primary weapon can be anything. EXCEPT A LIGHTSABER. However, your secondary weapon may be one. Lightsabers require years of training, even for jedi. You will hurt yourself more than others if a non-force wielder used a lightsaber as a primary weapon. Consider a vibrosword if you must have a sword. Also, if you weild a sword against a jedi, you will lose, even if you were trained by Obi-wan himself. Nor can your sword block blasters. That's a jedi skill. No Exceptions.
**** You do not have to be a force-user to be affiliated with the Jedi or Sith. The Jedi use NFUs as pilots, helpers, all sorts of things. Sith will have bounty hunters, assassins, etc.
*****Your personal ship. You can pick any ship you want, or none at all. However, please describe your ship and modifications (not everyone has a smuggling ship with military grade shields, cloak generator, and a class .9 or faster hyperdrive). If you can, include a picture.
****** Your history is optional. If you decide to put a personal history down, do not say "Unknown" or any cheezy drama queen antics. You can have some tradegy in your life, but don't be the one God pisses on daily.
******* Your appearance must not be the words "Like Avi". Your avi probably changes clothes every day - mine almost certainly does! I doubt a jedi will wear mami wrap with a dark cape, a red clown nose, and reindeer hooves. You may, however, use a tektek, if you wish. You can type it out or post a picture. Pictures preferred, if you have them on hand.
******** This is more for characters returning from the first installment.

Jedi/Sith/Imperial Knights Those of you that are approved of having a Force Using character by me or another mod get to abide by these profile rules. Many parts of this profile setup are similar/identical to those of NFUs. However, some parts are different. Force-sensitive Bio Information V 1.103Name: Age: Race: Gender: Force Affiliation: (Jedi, Sith, Imperial Knights) Lightsaber description: Philosophy: (Determines focus of practice) Personal Ship: (Apprentices of any faction cannot own a ship) Appearance: Bio: Special RulesApprenticesEvery school of the Force has learners, so why not be one of them? After all, not everyone is a master. Here are the rules: -You're Force skills are incredibly weak. Do not expect to be lifting things bigger than say a stack of books, and that's with practice. -Lightsaber skills are on par with someone who has been practicing with a vibrosword for a few months. Saber throws and other fancy tricks are out of question until after some practice. -You may only use a lightsaber. Not two, not a greatsaber, not a saberstaff. One saber. -You're stuck with lightsaber Form 1, although you can tweak it a little to your style. Don't expect to be able to do any crazy acrobatics: Shii-Cho - The most basic techniques, the basics of attack, parry, body target zones, and the practice drills called velocities are all here. Pretty much stuck with anything you can use. Effective if honed, especially against multiple opponents, but overall weak. -Your Master will teach you to develop Force Skills. You can't perfect all of them obviously, but you can grow proficient in one or two skills per planet visited or training sessions done. These skills are: Padawan/ Apprentice: Everyone starts off as a youngling. You must be trained by a knight. Your skills are non-existant mostly. So you start off: -No force powers, but gain one or two per planet, depending on time spent. -No using dual or poleblades until knighthood, and using only Style 1. -Must choose preferance for the force or the lightsaber. see below. 1)Philosophy: This is the style which you fight. It determines some factors, though remember what you will be using before you hastily decide. You may recognize these from Knights of the Old Republic. Often times, this is more important as padawans who lack much battle experience and have a harder time compensating for a weakness. Jedi Guardian/Sith Mauler - True fighters of an order, the lightsaber comes before all. Tending to be quite public, preparing for a confrontation is the primary objective. Jedi Consular/Sith Corruptor - Masters at wielding the force, these warriors tend to delve into the mysteries of the force, and often times are instructors or scholars. Jedi Sentinel/Sith Infiltrator - Balanced between the lightsaber and the skills of the force, these warriors have devoted themselves to other skills as well, such as hacking, security, etc. As said before, you will also learn one to two skills per planet. You can choose from (description later): -Force Push/Pull -Force Jump -Force Levitate -Force Speed -Mind Probe -Force Persuade-Force Heal -Force Absorb -Battle meditation-Force Lightning -Dark Craze -Force ChokeSkills Description: Push/Pull: This skill is a duh. You can push or pull one unwilling opponent.
Jump: Ability to jump higher and farther, as well as land with better control from high distances.
Speed: This is you on Crank. You are insanely fast, but only in dire times. You will almost run faster than a laser.
Levitate: Allows you to pick up inanimate objects and throw them, such as a rock or your lightsaber.
Mind Probe: Search someone's thoughts and feelings and maybe discover somethign of interest.
Force Persuade: Not quite a mindtrick or mindcloud yet, you can still influence people to a small degree using this skill. It will not affect the strong of mind, and the weak of mind only are influenced, not controlled. Heal: Everybody needs a little healing sometime. Not as good as bacta, but great first aid. However, this is not an instant process. Healing takes time, so use sparringly.
Force Absorb: Takes most Force attacks and absorbs them, aka deflect them.
Battle Meditation: By meditating, the Jedi can forsee incoming attacks before some happen, and have a chance to block more. It also works on a larger scale, influencing those allies around you to be more confident, and boost morale.Dark Craze: A technique that drains you until battle is over or you pass out. Speed, dexderity, strength, and focus increase.
Lightning: Go Palpatine on the fool, make like Metallica and make 'em "Ride the Lightning"! Self-explanitory. Only effective against one person.
Choke: Works on more than just choking, as it can also be used as a grip-like power, enabling you to toss living things. Also considered Grip.Note that Imperial Knights can use any combination of these skills. The Jedi will stick mostly to neutral and blue skills, while Sith will mostly use red and grey skills. KnightsYou've passed the trials and are now a fledged knight. Your mastery of the Force is more complete than before, and your skills are much more fine-tuned. Knights: -Take orders from the council or lords -Can train apprentices and become masters. -Can use dual sabers or poleblades if focusing on lightsaber preferance -Can change their form from form 1 to another: Form 2: Makashi - An old style rarely used by the jedi. One studies the precise manipulation of the blade, making them very strong against another lightsaber wielder. However, in this present day and age, blasters and other weapons are used, and the precise manipulation of blades pretty much sucks against blaster fire. Sith should consider this form, if expecting many duels with jedi. Dooku used this style. Form 3: Soresu - The all around Defensive style. Unlike form 2, this style is quite adept at blocking lasers. It is widely reguarded that form 3 is even invincible once mastered, as it depends on effecient movements and precise control to block blasters and lightsabers. The only downside is that the form is not for offense, rather, it is stronger when redirecting a blaster or attack back at the opponent. Obi-Wan preferred this style. Form 4: Ataru- Unlike Form 3 and it''''s lack of exposure, Form 4 does the opposite. Using acrobatic movements and the force to move as much as possible, its defense relies more on evading rather than blocking. Mastery makes the user a blur, and only the strongest can defend against it. Yoda and Qui-gon both used this technique. Form 5: Shien- Focusing on offensive, this style is basically pound the s**t out of the opponent. While form three is defensive, soemtimes it cannot overpower the opponent. Shien takes this, and using many defensive abilities from three, allows to push through. However, it sacrifices some defence for this. Widely reguarded as a domination style, Vader embodied this style. Form 6: Niman- The diplomatic style, 6 incorporates all styles 1-5. Very flexible in its usage, Niman is very useful where one does not know what to expect. In knowing all the other styles, however, it isn''''t as focused, making it have no other distinct advantage. Form 7: Juyo or Vaapad- Mace Windu''''s own style, it is styles 1-6, but better. It is by far the most powerful, but relatively fresh and undiscovered. In fact, only Mace Windu himself had ever come close to mastering it. The downside is the complexity of the style can take decades to learn, and thus, many prefer to master another style. If learned though, the style will be bold, powerful, demanding, but not flashy. Only one word can describe it: Overwelming. Certain skills upgrade upon knighthood if they were originally trained in the pre-requisites. These skills are: Force Push > Force Wave Force Speed > Force Sprint Force Persuade > Jedi Mindtrick/ Sith Mindcloud Force Lightning > Force StormDescriptions: Force Wave: A skill much like push, this skill can fire a "wave" of force energy, and knock all people down in that general direction.
Force Sprint: A skill that exceeds Force Speed. Using all the energy in a quick burst, one is able even to outrun a blaster... for a short distance.Mind trick: *waves hand* You will not fight me. Doesn''''t work on powerful minds. Can make people bend to do actions.Sith Mindcloud: Much like the Jedi mindtrick, you can make weak minds do your bidding. But unlike the mindtrick, it is by confusion instead of clarity.
Force Storm: Even more powerful than lightning, this not only targets more than one opponent, but has more range, and covers a greater area than lightning.MastersForce Masters have an almost complete mastery of the Force and are able to use any skill with much power and skill. Masters Can: -Take apprentices or guide Knights -learn the last saber form -Learn an Ultimate force power Ultimatum Moves: Force Sphere: A neutral Force move, it involves creating a bubble of sorts, and pushing all objects away from the user in all directions for about 50 feet. Basically: Force push, except 360 degrees. Force Shield: Another Neutral skill, the user may choose to put forth a combination of levitate, push, and absorb in a concentrated attack that works effectively against all incoming projectiles, much like a shield. Jedi Meld: Link minds with other force-users, allowing many to act as one person. Consequences however, include that minds could potentially overload and kill a person if they are not proficient enough in the Force. Force Feedback: The limited nature of force absorb is limited to only absorbing or deflecting the attack of lasers and force moves. However, a trained master can capture, and then redirect the attack right back at an opponent. However, many times this creates a deadlocked battle, turning the battle into a lightsaber dual instead of a force battle. Drain life: A true sith skill, the sith lord can drain life out of his opponent, and convert it back to him. However, this does not work all of the time, and the target must be weakened to have any real effect as well. Mind Shift: A skill used by sith lords who would rather use deception and trickery than direct confrontation. Sith Lords with this skill can literally seperate their spirtual entities including the force out of their corporal husk. They can either sit tight, not move their bodies, and basically etherally travel like ghosts to places, or remote control their bodies and not be sensed through unnatural means. Remember the color association with your factions. PM all information to me or Nelowulf, as per standard.

RULES
1. Listen to all mods: Nelowulf, Cale Darksun, Darkened Angel and Nospai Deathous. This axiom also applies to any whom may be promoted to mod-ship during the course of the RP. They have higher authority than you. Annoy me, and I'll make you sit in the corner wearing a dunce cap!
2. Guild rules and GAIA TOS must be followed ALWAYS.
3. Simple, semi-literate RP guidelines must be followed. God-moding is prohibited, and puppeting is allowed at the consent of the other party (I advise that you do not delete any PMs exchanged between you and said party incase I need to see it).
4. Please be literate. This includes using proper punctuation, apostrophes, paragraphs if needed and other simple gramatical practices.
5. This is a 3rd Person objective RP. This means, that you will only use "I", "Me" and other 1st person forms unless in dialouge. This also means that you cannot know what others are thinking. OOCs must be represented in a double parentheses ((like this)) or in double brackets [[like so]].
6. Expounding on parts 4 and 5, basically think of it as a novel in progress by many writers.
7. Do not hesitate to submit a profile for characters such as Darth Krayt, Roan Fel or other canon premades mentioned in or during the Rp. However if you do, please at least read the Wookieepedia articles on these characters before submiting a profile.
8. Feel free to go to any planet you choose. However, there will be what I call "Centers of Attention" where important events will happen. This is to help you rejoin the action.
9. Force ability will be granted upon review of your profile. if the character seems fit for a Jedi/Sith/Imperial Knight character, and you promise to stay dedicated and RP nicely, you will be allowed to keep the character. Otherwise, I will ask you to rework the char as an NFU.
10. Have Fun! Otherwise, things are going to like, suck and stuff.
(( As of Mar. 12, 2007, Celestia Whitesword is no longer a guild member. ))

In the depths of space, a Palleaon-class Star Destroyer let go of another ten probe droids, all headed for the furthest reaches of the outer rim. Each headed for a planet, to only hit the atmosphere and scan the planets for signs of suspicious life. With the hold the sith had on the galaxy, few could really dispute that droids would be needed to search the core. More importantly, there were enough rimplanets to save the manpower on the rim. With the jedi constantly fleeing, the sith were scouring the galaxy in hunter killer teams, trying their hardest to wipe out their mortal enemies.
The Pallaeon moved, but as it progressed, shadows covered what little light reflected on the metallic surface. Star's light was blocked by the overpowering shadow of a spherical construct, where hundreds of thousands of workers had been laboring for the past four years over the planet Sestooine. Work would not yet be completed for another three years, but that mattered little. While the arms of the station had yet to be built, much of the interior which formed the main bulb had been completed, and with it powerful communications relays that had been in use for some time. While the station was not yet operational, it still had plenty of working systems. Its hidden location was perfect as a reception point for many of the Outer Rim reports from the probes.
But today was different. A shuttle escourted by a pair of Predators flew towards one of the many docking bays, while the Pallaeon prepared its own docking sequence for the station. The shuttle held valuable cargo, as the creator of this nightmarish battlestation grew further impatient with the flight, and of the timetables being somewhat skewed.
The landing gear dropped down, as the shuttle glided in to an open reception filled with plaguetroopers and sith infiltrators. Officers stood watch as well, each fearing his own neck. The hiss of the ramp dropping echoed throughout the hangar, as a pair of Sith assassins uncloaked and at attention at either side of the ramp. The floating spectre droped down the ramp, making no noise from his footsteps, as the robes just faintly glazed the floor. Only one person stood in front of the menace, and feared nothing.
The rust colored droid had proven an effective overseer. Most effective, in fact, because droids never tire. An iron grip was more than just a metaphor; he had killed over 900 workers in the last six months alone for incompetance with a bare hand. It was impossible to understand who was more fearsome, the robot that slew the stupid, or the person whom it bowed before.
"Greetings master. I see you have arrived safely, though from my scans I fear you may not be amused," HM said, accurately pinpointing the thoughts of Ferno. It was second nature to him, but not to the officers standing nearby. "The reports of the probe droids have yet to be conclusive. We assume the loyalist threat is outside the main systems, and we have continued to search deeper, but all these droids need time to reach their destinations and conduct their investigations. In other news, we have not yet recieved any positive word from any of our infiltrators, though we are still investigating the coreworlds in depth. It is unlikely, but still plausible that the so called "GLF" is hiding right under our noses as you predict. I only hope that you are correct in your guess, as Maladi will quicklly pounce otherwise."
As HM concluded his sentence, he noticed the apprentice, now older and more skilled, not to mention far more ragged than ever before from the brutal training regimines put through by Ferno, come down the ramp. "Greetings," was all that the droid acknowledged, before guiding the way through the superstructure.
"Droid efficiency is at its usual rate. Another shipment should put us at almost 105% efficiency for this structure; we are ahead of schedule by two weeks almost. I feel that even though this is the action of our non-stop droid work, I have allowed a small lenience in the worker's efforts. Morale is still high, but it risks faltering at many points. I hope you do not plan to disappear too quickly, though I figure the first point we recieve notice of the hidden bases, you'll depart immediately."
Ferno was unamused, but so far, he was yet to be disappointed...
~~~~
Abregado Rae was a beautiful planet, orbiting the sun known as Anza. From his vantage point, nothing could be seen, but his work was simple. He had managed to track the situation this far, but until he could be completely sure and find the layouts of this place, he was at another dead end; another dropoff, another problem.
But as far as he felt away from the government and the sith, he was so close he could taste it. No major cities, or points of attention. Not good for buisness if your hidden base happened to be out in the open. It was sort of an oxymoron then.
The shouting of his name woke him out of his trancelike state of thought.
"Zanatos Bakura! Ready to finally get junk out of junk?" A comrade said. Humans were so unusual, it was hard to understand how his uncle had put up with them for so long. His uncle had put in many hours with the New Republic, he was a black sheep as well. Zanatos believed in the singular dictatorship presented by the empire, not the flimsy, time-consuming practices of a democracy. Krayt only was the ruler for now, nothing different than the usual.
"Yeah," the Falleen agent said. He altered his pheromones ever so slightly, then returned, prepared to unload the cargo. Inside, he wanted to be done with this and return home, but it would be a while yet for that to happen.
Abregado Rae ...
Freya Starsinger yawned as she awoke from her bunk. Here in the Galactic Liberation Front's "secret" base, which was a neat trick, seeing as someone had the suggestion of hiding in plain sight, so close to the Core.
Still, she had her two E-54 blasters strapped to her legs, strapping their respective holsters to her dark fatigue pants. She then donned her dark leather jacket.
"Hello there, sleepyhead," intoned a small rust and primer coloured astromech, whom spoke in a melodious, pleasant voice.
"Like, hey, Rusty," Freya said to the droid, absently running a hand through her just above shoulder length blonde hair. "So, is there like totally any news and stuff?" she queried of the droid.
"Just new recruits coming in, Freya," Rusty replied.
"And Gunther?" she asked. "What is he up to?" she asked, refering to her younger "brother", whom was actually her cousin. As a small child, she was taken in by her late uncle, Veron Starsinger the Fourth, whom raised her as his own.
"Conscientious, as usual, of course," Rusty said. "Allready, he's training with a remote, and re-arranging cargo with the Force." With an electronic sigh, he then added, "I tell you ... that boy really pushes himself."
As if on cue, a young man's voice chimed in. "The path of the Jedi takes serious commitment." he soberly said. "Why, just yesterday, I strained to lift the Aldera Ballet. Took me three tries before I managed to raise it a meter,"
"Well, like totally take a breather and stuff!" Freya said to the young man. "I swear, I've half a mind to so totally have a word with that crazy jawa," she said, shaking her head.
"That is not necessary," Gunther sheepishly laughed. "Master Vrook only does what he deems fit." he said calmly.
Freya merely shrugged at that, before turning to Rusty. "Well, we're up for the patrol roster today, Rusty. Are you like totally ready?"
"As always," the droid said. "Let us be off to the hangar,"
Mandalore was a Battlefield.
It's green hills and forestes were covered by the destroyed machines of war and the burning marks of an armies passage. But unlike most ground battlefields this one was clean of bodies, for both sides had taken great effort to ensure the proper burial of their losses. Or at least that was the view behind the command post on Hill 317 overlooking the Mandalorian Capital City, Kedabe. There Fleet Admiral Borill Elsyn lifted his Electrobinoculars to survey the city and the remaining Mandalorian and Loyalist troops deploying to defend their capital.
It had taken four months of continuous fighting for his troops to slowly plod their way across the world's terrain. A campaign of epic proportions for a ground invasion made all the longer by the honeycome of defenses the Mandalorians had put in place. Instead of a coordinated grid of planetary shield emitters there were thousands of independent ground shield units, and each had been turned into a bastion, supported by speeders, tanks, and infantry. There was no way to bypass every position, so it had been a battle of attrition were the Imperial forces would march upon the enemy's bastion, lay siege and eliminate it before moving on.
Now that scattered defense was comming back to haunt the enemy. Only a small force could be scrounged to defend their capital, and the low thud of thermal detonators blasting apart abandoned ferrocrete emplacements echoed across the hilltops.
Beside Borill was Kusei Maki wearing her Mandalorian Armor, but her helmet was off and her blue eyes surveyed the terrain before them as well as the enemy.
The Mandalorians were formed up now, pulling themselves together into a clear tactical formation before the city gates. It was time.
Borill turned to Kusei, "Bring your troops forward, this is your city Kusei, and its time for the true Mandalorian People to reclaim their home."
"Yes sir, I trust we're free to call in support as needed?"
"Of course," Borill answered as the dull whine of a Wombat II Star Frigate maneuvering above them began to build. It's shadow cast them in darkness. Borill grinned without looking up, the use of the Wombats as aerial artillery had been an old trick he'd learned, but it remained among his most effective ones. Still smiling he turned to the Imperial Air Controller, "Signal Talon Squadron its clear for a ground pass."
"Yes sir, talon flight this is control..."
The roar of the air being split by the squadron of T-97s echoed across the battlefield. They screamed low, spitting laser fire as they dove on the assembled Mandalorians. The flashes of laser energy igniting bodies and equipment appeared brilliant white on the infrared display of his Electro-binoculars. Then as the T-97's pulled up they released their payload. Through the infrared view he could see the TDDs dropping from their craft and falling toward their targets. At two hundred meters from the ground each Thermal Detonator Dispenser flashed as it opened up and scattered its devestating Barium submunitions. Nearly everything a hundred meter circumfrence from the bomb was treated to a thermal detonator charge, and out of the assembled equipment and personnel only a tiny fraction would be capable of fighting.
With the airstrike complete his Mandalorians Allies left their trenches and charged the enemy's lines. Tanks of identical manufacture began to engage each other as the Mandalorian warriors charged. But for those defenders piloting the Armored Vehicles their own demise would be a stunningly quick one.
From just below the ridgeline four giant armored suits rose from cover. Maki'gam was what they were called, a walker that was in itself a soldier in powered armor. Their grey armor glinting in the light and the honor banner each wore across its metal shoulder flapping in the air. In their hands was a large caliber railgun. Slowly and deliberately each sited in on the tanks that the enemy had deployed and fired. Within a few minutes the tanks were gone, destroyed by their distant foes.
As the Maki'gam Battlesuits were picking off the tanks the Wombat II high above spoke, its ventral turbolaser batteries which had been meant to put a mean bite in a Star Destroyer fired, lancing green fire into the Mandalorian formation.
The defenders broke, they fell back as a mob toward the city and the Mandalorians which were his allies rushed to the city gates.
Seeing this Borill lowered his Electro-binoculars, "They've broken and fallen back into the city. Tell all the bombers to switch from cluster munitions to precision ordinance, I want to contain any insurgency and remind all our forces to be careful of collateral damage. Not all Mandalore is our enemy you know."
3 MONTHS PRIOR…Boop… Boop… Boop… BING!In an instant, the entire arena filled with the sound of powerful engines punching out of the tractor break systems. The Podracers blasted out of the arena, with a sharp left turn, leading into the beginning of the course. The New Plympto Axe Memory course came out of was once the Cadgel Meadows starport, and into Half-Axe Pass. Once the site of a powerful battle between the Republic turned Empire forces vs Nosaurians Separatist forces with the aid of a Jedi. Now, this area, and the rest of the planet were nearly uninhabitable due to the Vong wipping out the planet’s surface with biological weapons. This was perfect for a dangerous Podrace. And nothing different for Llednar Seei’Huo. His racer punched pass a pillar of what was left of a library next to it. The racer, 3 racers down, was not as lucky. He was clipped by another podracer, and his slammed into one of the pillars holding the building up still. The pod of his racer shot of, bringing him to safety, but the racer in last had no chance. He tried to move out of the way, but the building slammed into the ground, cutting away at the path. It slammed into it, its plasma engines letting out a bright purple blast that Llednar could see without have to spin around all the way. He was in fourth, and the pods ahead were trying to block his way. #2 and #3 were trying to block him on purpose, apprently hired by the pod in the lead. But, Blovo had the racer behind him hired for just this reason. He was an Utai, and wasn’t half bad as a bully type of racer either. Llednar let the Utai’s pod blast ahead, and began to hit the two other pods. Then, Llednar saw the gap. He punched the accelerator and when through the small gap, turning his pod on a near perfect 90 degree angle. Now he was past them, but he caught a quickly glance of the Utai pod’s left engine explode, taking out one the other pods with it. Now it was him and the lead. He blasted forward and got a quick look at the lead racer. Sugwis, a dug, and a nasty one too. He was known as the most double crossing and sabotager around. But, Llednar always checked his pods over before starting a race. But, didn’t I check every part this time…?He saw the dug snicker and the click a button. Llednar’s front engine cables snapped and his pod lundged forward. His engines smashed into a large post of a hover train track, and exploded. His body was lundged out the pod. He watched as a flat sheet of durasteel flew towards him. And this is where he became shocked. As the metal flew at him, he put out his hands, and somehow redirected the metal out of the way before it sliced him in half. Thing was, he never touched it. Wha… I couldn’t have moved without touchin-Then he flet the strong current of a plasma spark shoot from his racer before the other pod slammed into the ground. He passed out right away, which was good, because he didn’t have to feel any of the pain of slamming through broken glass into the room of an insane asylum. He slammed into the padded wall, and fell to the ground…
Abregado Rae was one of those places Jedi just didn't belong. Or at least, that's what Kathleen thought. She'd been here for a few hours now, for her scheduled meeting with some Jedi with the GLF. She'd found their ship easily enough, with some help, and a little luck. She relaxed carelessly against the hangard walls, as she sensed the Jedi come closer torwards the hangar. She stood up, and beckoned to them through the Force.
A hot, volcanic world, angry at its inhabitants, destroyed all life and ruined the planet. Ruins everywhere. Failed mines here and there. Shola wasn't a planet fit to support life anymore.
At least, that's what they official report said. Little did the Sith's experts know, a hidden base, barely large enough for twenty people, sat buried in the caverns and caves, out of sight, and protected by the very world bent on destroying all life.
And in that hidden base, a dark figure rapped silently on the railing, his metallic claws clicking, and his hoarse breathing almost strained and very raspy, with red eyes behind a black cowl. He stood no more than 5'6" and he seemed every bit the part of a Sith Lord or some hellish demon.
No, this was no Sith Lord. This was Detre clan Eik'hmir, reborn and recreated.
A lone figure stood, wielding an amethyst blade. Mother, please watch over me, wherever you are ... was her silent prayer, as she sat cross-legged in meditation.
"Iria, I thought I'd find you here," said a young man's voice. "Are you all right?" he asked with a note of concern.
"Yes, thank you, Sir Gunther." Iria replied, shutting down her amethyst blade. "How are yourself and Lady Freya faring this day?" the young lady asked.
Gunther smiled sheepishly to her. "We are fine, thanks for asking." he said. "Freya is flying a patrol today." he absently said. "She and Rusty are filling in for someone from Shark Squadron today."
"I see," Iria said. "She is indeed a capable pilot, to be sure," she commented. "I still remember when we rescued Lady Angel from Coruscant."
"Yes." Gunther said, a slight frown on his kindly features. "It was there where Master Kalnar fell to Stryfe's blade." Shaking his head, he then added, "I too nearly fell when he separated me from yourself and Colonel Seraphim. I too would be one with the Force now, if not for the timely intervention of Master Vrook."
"Yes," Iria said. "And Sir Luger almost left you!" she said, shaking her head. "Thankfully, Lady Freya petitioned him to come back for you, and convinced them to turn the ship around. I believe she and Sir Gorwooken utilized what is known as 'agressive negotiation', in this case,"
At that, Gunther had to laugh. "I can imagine!" he replied. "In any case, I have to see Master Vrook." he declared. "Take care of yourself. And," the young man offered, "Don't worry too much. I imagine wherever she's at, she's proud of you," he said, patting her gently on the shoulder.
"Thank you, Sir Gunther," Iria said, hugging the young knight. "That means a lot to me."
"Certainly," Gunther said, reciprocating the embrace before startign off to find the eccentric jawa whom has trained him.
Zanatos felt as compensators over the ship shifted for the altitude and the landing sequence being. The transport was not terribly large; the base had already been set up supposedly for months now, this was only rations and supplies, as well as troops to help create a presence. But it mattered not. He quickly rubbed his bony brow (something he hated his uncle for not having) but remembered all of his training. The familiar bump signalled contact with the ground, and soon enough, the doors led outside. He did his duty; both for and against the sith.
He grabbed a vehicle, and moved it to help unload the cargo.
"Sometimes I wonder how you humans can consume so much." he muttered. Several of the crew laughed, one even making a rebuttal.
"Oh you falleen. Why can't you get off your high horse and enjoy life like the rest of us?"
He didn't care, right now, he was in a semi-bad mood, but he'd blend in more later.
"I guess I do need to lighten up. I left the planet, why not go all the way? Drinks on me tonight for anyone who unloads more than me," he offered, as whoops and cheers rebounded through the hangar, the males speeding up to take advantage of free drinks.
A few days had past... Something had happened when that charge went through him from his podracer. It had short-circited the bomb placed in his ribs. It was bound to Blovo. And Blovo knew that he was still alive too. It was hard getting off of New Plympto, when there was only one way off... --- Blast... another guard... Llednar watched as one of Blovo's guards scanned a crate being put into a transport. Now that the podrace was over, the only people left were the crago crews. They moved cargo on in a hurry, not wanting to deal with Blovo's people anymore. The last cargo was scanned and put on. This is my chance! But how?! Then it came. Someone messed up something, and something blew up in the distance. Not a big explosion, but enought to draw attention. Llednar jumped down from atop the pillar and made a mad dash into the ship's cargo bay when the guard turned around. But as he hit the ramp, the guard heard and turned to see. "Hey! You!" The guard aimed at Llednar about to fire, when Llednar surprised himself yet again. He held his hand out and the blaster flew out of his hand, and near Llednar's feet. He quickly grabbed the blaster, and shot him square in the chest. The other guard, running back now from the fire, was shot in the head. Both were dead, by a kid who had never fired a blaster before. The ramp closed, and Llednar back into the ship's hold. He was shocked and scared. He had never killed anyone before... Never before... Now... Now... he had killed twp people. He curled in a ball in the corner, not knowing what to think about what just happened...
