Well, there's the commandment that says "Do not kill." If you commit suicide, you are killing yourself.

I wouldn't suggest you kill yourself. It isn't Biblical and the world would be missing another person. You never know where God wants to use you. If you kill yourself, God can't use you...

If you kill yourself it does say that thou shall not kill, if you did then well for one you lost the glory of god, the holy spirt, and the key to Heaven, plus God put us on this earth for a reason, why would you waste it>?

I used to think why not, then I saw what God wanted me to see, I hope you do to, if your having trouble.

Make sure you're following God's plan for you.

That sounds really weird at first glance, but think about it for a sec. If God has a plan for you to die at 80 from Alzheimers, or at 36 being hit by a bus, why couldn't his plan be to have you kill yourself?

It is a very hard thing to think about, especially living in this world away from our Lord. Paul struggled with this saying that he stays alive for other Christians. So while it is a good thing for God's saints to die and be with him, more and better work can be done for others on earth. Quoting the Law to a grief stricken person does not give comfort. Christ sends the Comforter to remind us of his boody, saving work on teh cross where he paid the penalty for all our sins. Whatever you have done, repent and it will be forgiven. God has promised this.
