is this guild still active? this game is pretty dead. im planning on being ninja on one of the fairy server, idk yet. i lost my game so i bought another copy online and it should be here in about a week. i want to know some things, i forgot alot.

1. what are ninjas required to have? (subjob, etc)
2. whats the big popular server?
3. is this game still.....active?
4. i cancelled my account a while back, will my characters still be there?

1) This guild is still semi-active. I'm trying to work my way back in here to make it active again.
2) This game is not dead.

Now on to your questions.

1) Sub-job for regular leveling would be Warrior.
2) I don't know because I only play on the Kujata server.
3) The game is still active ever since the release of Treasures of Aht Urghan.
4) If you canceled your account within the past three months then your characters should still be there, if it has been longer than that...Sorry, no dice. SE is supposed to delete characters after they have reached the three month time span.

1) Stat raising is unavailable till at level 75. Where it is no longer called 'leveling' its is called 'meriting'. You can add more Enmity, HP, MP, Blood Pacts, Spells, and more.

2) The new Vana'diel Collection 2007 has been released in November 2006. So it should be in stores now.

I could've sworn they said it was only for a year during the time the Xbox 360 version entered the stage.

It has been extended for a year before they permantetly delete your character because of the Iraq war and so many people are going there right now and can't log back in for a year.

x3 Sweeet! -snuggles the SE symbol-

Though that probably doesn't mean you can recover your character if you have canceled it before SE said that.

yay! more questions for you!

the first time i played, i wanted to be bard. this time i want to be ninja.

1. I can switch classes without making new char right? i think i remember something about were u talk to your moogle and he changes your class?
2. Is it possible to be ninja/bard? that combo would sux tho lol but i was just wondering.

1) You can change classes w/o having to create a new character, you do this by talking to your mog within a mog house or a nomad moogle in certain towns. The only thing is you have to have the jobs already unlocked.

2) It is possible to be anything in this game so nin/brd would be fine. Though most high leveled parties would like brd/nin for pulling.

Yes, talk to your moogle in your Mog House and you can change your job at no penalties. That's how you change your subjob as well.

Actually, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty damn sure NIN/BRD is used for tanking certain HNMs.

But anyway, although you can pick any subjob you want, make sure it's one that actually serves a purpose. Do some research on forums like Killing Ifrit to find out what you need. Just make sure you're not running around LFP as a NIN/PLD or something.

I have seen nin/war, mnk/whm, rdm/drk, smn/brd, pld/nin, brd/nin, rng/cor, blu/pld for hnms so far. I ussually go rdm/drk of course. heart

I'm glad my job really only has one to three combos for endgame.

smn/whm or smn/blm or smn/rdm

I don't think it is necessary to swear x.x

the job abbreviations are very intuative;
whm = white mage, brd = bard, nin = ninja, war = warrior etc. I'm sure you can figure most of them out yourself

HNM are monsters you fight at endgame (when you reach lvl75ish)

LFP means Looking for Party.
