Halloween before last I was handing out candy for my parents and these two kids in Marvel superhero costumes came to the door. Being an awesome guy I gave them both king size candy bars. Ten minutes later those same two superheros come to the door again with their masks swapped....
All evening I had been playing a trick on the trick-or-treaters by offering them the choice between a tin of sardines and a jar of beets....
... So as I'm looking at these two kids who clearly are trying to hit up my house twice, and not even being inventive about it and bordering on insulting my intelligence, without missing a beat I gave them each one of the two gag treats and wished them a happy halloween. I'm sorta glad they didn't put that can of beets through our window, but if they weren't sharp enough to bring a spare costume in their bags it probably didn't occur to them.
Anyone else have a story about 'double-dipping' a house as either a 'candy giver outer' or a trick-or-treater?

stare ...I don't like double-dippers. I give them week old rotted meat if they're lucky, a supersoakerfull of urine to the face if they aren't.
