Also it wasnt McNairs fault that the O line let him get hit all day. He was getting beaten to a pulp by the Indy D line. If anyone is to blame its the Raven O line. Not only did they not protect McNair but didnt open up any rushing lanes at all either. A power back like Lewis only Got 54 yards. If you ask me it was McNair's leader ship that even kept them close in the game. Any lesser of a QB would have allowed the whole team to collapse after the first half. (he was well beaten up by then) But he gutted it out and kept the team close till the very end. Though I will say the D had a lot to do with that too. But I dont think any QB in the league could have done better with the atrocious blocking for both pass and run that was occuring.
And some credit must be given to the INDY D. Two weeks in a row they faced a supposed superior offense and played with passion and physicality. Anyone regaurdless of team affiliation that watched that game has to admit the level of heart shown by the Colt's D. They were flying around and hitting hard.

Like my comment before shows.. I agree with ya. Dont look a gift horse in the mouth. Its like people wanting to fire Marty Schoten... the Chargers coach. Three years ago they were a horrible losing franchise. Now he got them to 14-2 in the regular season and everyone wants his head because he didnt win a Champipnship. REdiculous. Look at Bill Cower.. it was eleven years between his first SB appearence and last year when he won the SB. Good thing the people of Pittsburg didnt give up on him that easlily.

i went to the playoff game at m & t bank stadium and towards the end of the 3rd quarter they wanted kyle boller becuase steven mcnair was playing like a sissy.
