Steve was having a conniption. Rouge was busy on a hunt for Dartsmoore somewhere in the jungles of some other part of Tison and Tan Pan was pregnant and in no mood to deal with babysitting two very rammy children. Well rammy wasn't a good term. More like lonely. So of course the poor dog earred Tison male had been stuck with a pair of reborn godlets and nothing to do.

Feejhu was curled up in her stroller and sobbing. She'd never seen a mall before and had also never been in a stroller. The little girl saw lots and lots of strange people walking around with bags but there was no mommy. She was restrained and being taken to some strange place that played loud music. This made her scared that her Daddy would abandon her!

Meanwhile Diyaka was squirming about in his seat trying to look at everything at once. There were people! And there was music like Mommy played! And there were spiky things like Dartie wore! And shiny boots! Diyaka liked boots. He kept trying to grab them as they wheeled through Hot Topic to get a new CD and some odds and ends.

"Tell me about it." Steve mumbled, ears drooping in annoyance. Then strangely he noticed Nikiana better. "Hey! I know who you are! You're Nikiana! Rouge has a picture of you and some info on you on the ship's computer! My name is Steve, I'm the weapons officer on the Samadueanna." he said, extending a hand. So! The two in the stroller had to be the twins she got!

Seeing another woman with stroller bearing two very different looking babies made Feejhu panic a bit. Oh no! This was a place where they took little babies to hurt them!!!! Not that she'd ever seen other babies besides Dia but she had a fair idea of what they looked like. Oh dear oh dear!

Diyaka squeaked and waved to the two other babies. They were people! People people people! And behind them he could see a girl who he wanted to hug! She looked fuzzy and had a pretty nose! And she had a dragon!!!! Reaching his arms out he squeaked again, waving for Alaqua's attention. Maybe his cute baby powers would win her attention! biggrin

"Yeah these two are godlets as well. The little boy is Rouge's and the little girl is my wife's." he said before nodding to Reign.

Feejhu suddenly noted that the one baby was friendly. She peaked out from under her green arms and leafy bangs and waved at him. She was a shy baby but she was nice enough for a noseless green child.

Diyaka was thrilled to get attention from Ala. He squeaked and leaned up to give her a sweet baby kiss on the nose. He was a big baby and was able to reach her from her position.

It as a good thing it wasn't one of the other baby boys that had kissed her-like Aiden for instance. Diyaka wasn't as drooly as some of the others. Dia giggled at her and squeaked. "Wecoom!" he exclaimed. He had said a word he'd learned from Mommy! This girl should be proud of him! He hadn't been able to say it before.


Steve glanced down at them. "Uuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh closest I can think of was that one set of twins. Chaos and Order. The only reason I remember those two is cause the Order god was rather well respected in my family's house. They'd fit somewhat with how your two look. The one was a dusky skinned veritible gold mind of strength and the other was a perfect symbol of grace." Steve said, touching a finger to his chin as he thought.

Feejhu smiled, her neat little ivy leaves rustling as she waved her arms back and forth. Another baby! And he wasn't bouncy! Fun!

Dia blushed and giggled. She'd recognized what he had said! She had to have otherwise she wouldn't have had that look on her face! He'd done something smart.


Steve looked down. "I'm glad I'm not you. Heck I'm glad I'm not Rouge or Tan Pan. Little Diyaka there-the boy- is the fire god and Feejhu-the girl-is the goddess of life. And they're a handful. I luckily do not have one of my own and hope to not recieve one. Bad enough Feejhu had to come when my wife was pregnant. Two babies in the house is gonna kill me." Steve grimaced at the thought. He wasn't really a family man. But Tan Pan had wanted a child and so Tan Pan got two. One of her own and a reborn goddess.


Feejhu looked up at her name and smiled back at Shito. Her daddy wasnt' as interesting. Maybe it would be okay to be there if Shito were allowed to play with her.

Steve smiled and looked back at Niki. "I think there's a playroom in the foodcourt. They put it in recently because parents were complaining there was no where for their kids to play. You and I could go sit down for a bit and let these kids play while the older ones shop. How's that sound?" he suggested.

"Not much." Steve snorted. "Her race takes about 6 months for a pregnancy. She was pregnant for about 3 months before we got Feejhu." he shook his head at that. Not a pretty picture. Two babies in the house...ouch. He'd have to babysit more often.

The two waited for Reign then walked out to sit the four children down in a large empty pen type thing in the food court to play while they sat down and chilled out. It was an off day at the mall so the kidlets could have the pen to themselves.

Diyaka giggled profusely at Aiden and crawled over to him. It was a silly baby who fell over! What fun! biggrin DD He was happy.

Feejhu giggled a bit at Shito and her hair rustled a bit. It wasn't really intentional but it was a natural body motion. And kind of neat. On closer inspection one could see that they were currently just leaf shaped and textured funny. They didn't seem to be like real leaves completely. They moved like leaves in the ways curls bounced when one moved. Though in time those leafy locks would be more then just leafy.

Steve smiled. "Yeah a small pause." he agreed.
