Generation is now done by a roll of a 20 sided dice. so this is where you do generation!!!
I'll post in here what the generation of whoever is. SO that means you don't have to spend background anymore!! Yay! 4laugh heart
EDIT
I finally got it down from my hunny bunny of how we do generation with d20.
If you roll...:
1= thin-blood, 14th 2,3,4,5=13th 6,7,8,9= 12th 10, 11, 12= 11th 13, 14=10th 15,16,= 9th 18, 19-=8th 20= 7th

I dunno how this whole rolling a d20 would work out, but I guess it's worth a shot...

Moonlight Penguin I finally got it down from my hunny bunny of how we do generation with d20. We'd roll a d4, and just subtract the number from 13. If anyone rolled a 4 they got the chance to roll again. If they got another 4 they were gen 8, if they didn't they were gen 9. This takes care of the problem that 14th gen itself is a flaw and 15th gen is near unheard of.

Ah maybe you were right. All I heard from my boyfriend was thin-bloods were if you roll a 1, and mas.
I like this so I have more backgrounds to spend in resources, just like a Ventrue should have. mrgreen I'll fix it.

I'm making my new char, so I'll use this. If you guys change it, let me know. <3
yay. a 1. O.o;
14.damn.
You know they say that when the blood is that thin, if you were a brand new vamp (under 10 years) you can still have a baby.

I'm going to add this to the rolls since Havoc asked me.. and so I seem unfair. From whatever you recieved, if you want you can still add generation background points to your character to get them to whereever you want. But the lowest your characters can be is an 8th. So say you are a 10th gen, you can spend only and up to two points in generation background.
