Ok, so this one I had last night and I thought it was odd....
It started out normal; me and my sis were playing Kirby in on my N64 in the living room. Then all of a sudden, the game became real. I wasn't Kirby, but still.
There were these two guys pulling stuff out of a really old pipe - thing. I was hidden, watching them. They left for a bit, so I peeked into the pipe. There was a book in there, so I pulled it out. It was a book of spells, or some other magiacl thing. All I could read from the title was Book of _____. I couldn't make out the last bit.
Then I was at my house with the book. It was night. My dad was escorting one of the guys to the door. The guy noticed the book in my hands and askd what do you have there? I replied nothing, for I knew he was a criminal. He then said that he would get the book from me, one of these days. And then I woke up.

This could be nothing, but just in case, I should ward myself if I was you. My favorite method is the crafting of talismans. It can be anything. A wire amulet, a wooden brooch, or even something as mundane as a special knot. All that's important is that you make it yourself, and that it's related to a relevant influence. In this instance, I'd recommend something representing the physical world.

Why would I need to ward myself? What does this dream mean? Is it something bad?

elfenlover Why would I need to ward myself? What does this dream mean? Is it something bad? It's probably nothing, but then again, it might not be. In your dream you found a book. That is cause for concern. Even mundane books such as you might find in a hotel lobby have a kind of power, and finding one in your dreams could be dangerous all on it's own. As if that's not enough, you mention that something wants to take the book back from you. Why do they want the book? Who are they? What is the nature of the book you found? Perhaps you know and just forgot to mention it, but I believe that things you don't understand can kill you. Now, it is entirely possible that your dream is nothing more than your imagination, but if it's more than that, you need to be able to protect yourself.

Hmm...In the dream I didn't know why they wanted the book, nor did I know who they were. In another guild someone said that it might be a psychic vampire attack but I don't see as how that 's possible considering that there is only one psycic vampire that I know of around, and he happens to be my freind...

Sometimes a psychic vampire cannot help when they leech energy. They really don't mean to, but sometimes it happens.
as for the book thing. It could also signify knowledge, knowledge that only you should posses (like things about your self...maybe it was "Book of my life". My first thought was "Book of Shadows". This is a book used mainly by Wiccans. It contains their spells, teachings, and whatever else they deem important. These books are also very sacred and are meant to be kept personal (or possibly shared within a family). Again, it contains knowledge that should be kept to one's own person.

lol Don't let them scare you.
But be aware you might come across some information that has some value to you, but might be misused if the info got into the wrong hands. Maybe you picked up on a juicy secret that might benifit yourself or someone you know, but might be a bit problematic if anyone else finds out about it.
