ABOUT AKKHIMA

In game, Akkhima is a 24 year old girl who lives in Gaia. She is very comfortable due to some good investments when Gaia was new. She also owns a couple of shops around Gaia that bring a little income. She is single and wants to stay that way... Gaia is too fun of a place to tie oneself down.

Out of game, Akkhima is a 24 year old girl who lives in South Dakota. She likes anime, drawing and computer games. She works at an Apartment Rental Office for subsidized housing. She spends more time on Gaia than she should, even sneaking on while at work occasionally. She lives with her boyfriend, who is a full time student, in a small one bedroom apartment.

HOW I FOUND KINTARO

On a bright and sunny day, Akkhima was walking along the edge of a creek that ran down out of the nearby mountains. The warm spring air was melting the snow from the mountains, so the level of the creek was high. She was just walking and enjoyign the weather, no specific purpose or destination in mind.

She took off her shoes and waded into a part where there usually was a gentle bank, but now was shallow water. She splashed through the water and dug her toes into the muddy bottom. It felt good, the cool water and the warm air. She was very happy.

But then, she heard something nearby. It was a strange whining sound. She looked around, and saw that it was coming from a patch of plants downstream about 10 feet. She went to investigate. She pushed the bushes aside, and peered behind them. Inside she saw a basket, with a blanket inside... but the blanket was wiggling!

She quickly picked up the basket and carried it up to the grass by the side of the creek. She pulled back the blanket to find a baby, squirming and fussing. She picked up the tiny child and held it close to her, trying to comfort it. It calmed slightly, but it was obviously hungry and probably needed a clean diaper.

She pulled the baby away from her chest and looked at it carefully. She was shocked to see serval things. First off, the child had ears like a cat! And even more suprisingly, the child had a royal symbol on his face! Akkhima new of the royals and knew that a aymbol on the child's face meant that it was a male child. She also knew that many royals were currently trying to hide their children.

She scrouged through the basket with one hand, looking for any further clues. She found what she was looking for when she pulled out a piece of paper wrapped around several gold coins. She took out the paper and read:

"Please take care of Kintaro. He is
in great danger. Please keep him
hidden and keep him safe. You will
be rewarded at a later date."

It was not signed, and there was no further information. Akkhima bundled the child back up in the basket, put her shoes back on, and hurried home to get him some food.

BRINGING HOME BABY

Kintaro was such a small baby, Akkhima's arms didn't fatigue at all carrying the basket back to her home. She rushed him inside and placed the basket on the table and scrounged for supplies to feed him with. She found a small glass bottle and filled it with milk. She would have to get some proper formula later. Then, she took a piece of leather and secured it loosely around the mouth of the bottle so it could be gathered into a n****e to fit in the tiny baby's mouth. She used a large needle to poke some holes through the leather to let milk through, and brought the makeshift feeding bottle to the baby.

She had trouble getting him to accept the bottle, probably because the leather tasted strange to him, but once he discovered milk came out, he settled down and drank. Akkhima sighed, relieved. He was going to be alright, she could see. He seemed very happy, and she just sat and stared at his little face, soft and smooth.

The feeding seemed to take a long time, even though the child hardly drank a teaspoonful of the milk. But Akkhima was so happy to see that the little guy was settled and quiet that she didn't mind. However, after the meal was over, the fussing started up again. Obviously, the little guy needed a diaper!

Baby diapers are easy enough to make, she thought, and pulled out some extra cloth she had lying around. I was going to make myself a dress, but I think he needs it more than I do. She cut some large squares and folded them up like she'd seen other women do before.

Taking off the one he was wearing, she grabbed a towel to clean him up with. She wondered how such an adorable child could make such a... mess. But she knew this was what you got with a baby, and just got it done quick, trying not to breathe. She marveled, as she did the jub, at the fact that the little boy had a real, honest to gooness, bonafide tail! She hadn't noticed before, but there it was, and it was real!

After getting him bundled back up in all the layers of his clothing, she kind of felt exhausted. She carried him to her bedroom and lay down in her bed, holding him close to her chest. He soon fell into slumber, and his rythmic breathing soon put Akkhima to sleep as well.
