Lunar’s Note- Yeah.. This is the first chapter of my Naruto fan-fiction… and, no, I don’t own any of the characters from the original Naruto series.
Kabuto’s Vengeance
[Chapter One]
It is years after Naruto Uzumaki gained his Chuunin rank. He is currently on an A-Rank mission, with Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha. They are located far away from the Village Hidden in the Leaves, escorting the Fifth Hokage, Tsunade, to the Village Hidden in the Waterfall. Orochimaru has been killed by a group of Konoha's most talented Jounin, who were assisted by his former teammates, Tsunade and Jiraiya. Yakushi Kabuto, Orochimaru's former assistant is out for revenge. He plans on taking down The Village Hidden in the Leaves, even if it kills him. He will stop at nothing to annihilate his enemies, and has trained an extremely large group of Sound ninja to aid his dastardly plan as it unfolds.
Is Konoha prepared to fight back?

Ryouta, Yume, and Tsukiakari, powerful Leaf Village Genin, were sweating heavily. They had been training monotonously for the past six hours, practicing their special techniques. Each of them had bruises on their arms, legs, and palms.
Yume had long, straight, brown hair that framed her face beautifully, and quick, clever hands. She had been using her Divine Summoning Jutsu, and her arms could barely move due to fatigue. Large blades were scattered across the large, empty field in various places.
The trees surrounding Ryouta were covered with thick sheets of ice. His short purple hair was matted down on his forehead by his perspiration. His Ice Palm Jutsu still needed a bit of work, as he wasn’t able control the attack, and he was breathing heavily from the effort.
Tsukiakari’s ability to use her Byakugan was growing thin as her chakra lessened. Her eyes were pure white, with gray pupils, and veins could be seen near her eye socket. Her hair was shoulder-length, and dark red in color. She had been training personally with Hitoshi, their team’s mentor. Utilizing her Byakugan, Tsukiakari tried her best to strike Hitoshi where he was most vulnerable.
Allowing Tsukiakari to hit him once more, he held out a hand, signaling for her to cease. Calling the other two of his students over, he sat down on the grass.
“All right, guys. You’ve been training hard. We must return to the village and rest,” he said. Tsukiakari, Yume, and Ryouta bowed respectfully, and walked away, chattering mindlessly about how much they had improved.
Hitoshi stayed where he was for a moment, thinking to himself. All of his senses told him something was terribly amiss. Sighing unhappily, he stood up and stretched, wincing from the bruises Tsukiakari had left on his body.

It's short.
