Would you say, in your Boingo-y expertise, that Boingo Alive is worth buying? I mean, there's only like, 2 "new" songs, and the rest are just covers, really. And I've been told the originals for some are better (which is to be expected, I'm sure, just as with any group).
So where do you stand? ninja
(As you can probably guess, I'm wondering if I should buy it. rolleyes )

I've never heard it, so I can't really judge, but to me, if reasonably priced, any Boingo material is worth it.

Indeed, I'd say it's worth buying if you don't have Best O' Boingo. The best version of Only A Lad is on there--and I mean the best version besides the Farewell version only--But it appears to be a live recording, not a concert...it seems nifty.

I'd say it's worth it if you really feel like listening to Boingo, but are bored with what you have. Otherwise, probably not. I don't think that any of the recordings are really worse than the originals. However, Cinderalla Undercover is a great song. The recording of it is really good, too. I like the version on the Oingo Boingo 4-song EP, more. But, if you don't have either, I'd say, get it.

Okay smile
I have Cinderella Undercover, as released on Boingo Alive, but I've never heard the EP version! How is it? Does anyone have a copy of that? surprised
