Ever played a game, saw something, like a weapon or piece of equipment, and knew you were going to like its effect purely by the name?
Sure, this happens often in obvious ways. Something called an Ice cloak most obviously has Ice effect, so Ice elementa would probably want it. But what if it doesn't actually give the Ice effect, and affects stats instead? It will almost always increase whatever stat determines your hit rate, and often will also raise either Magic Def or Agility or even both.
The people who make games have elementa too, so their preferences are close to the same as ours. Isn't it nice to have these chains of preference? Makes everything so much easier. (they gave the FFXI ninjas Ice and Water based Katana attacks, for example, whilst the Samurai got Thunder and Fire attacks on their Great Katanas).

Yes, I do understand that, but being the water-shade person could I lean more towards the healing powers? I've always felt attached to that, and using the staff. Actually, a lot of my characters I RP in Gaia are always the healing type or white magic type.

I've always wanted a katana... that could shoot black lightning(BTW I have a feeling this is either impossible or completely improbable)
