A Broken Age

10 Years after the initial conflict with the army of Mariemaia, the world has bathed in peace. Solitude throughout space and upon earth have coexisted in a manner which Relena had believed in for so long. Colonies have brought about their differences and solved them with both themselves, and with earth. An alliance, one formed of both space and earth, reigns over all other military and naval operations. It's main goal : Maintain Peace

The time of peace brought about by the five now non-existant Gundams and the efforts of an organization named the "Preventors" has dwendled to a mere string. To the naked eye, their sacrifices have paid off in bringing unity and complete peace to the entire universe, but it's where the naked eye cannot see that the cancer begins to grow.

An Organization called "Chaos" seeks to break the cycle of peace in order to gain complete control of both space and earth. For years, they have built thier armies undetected. Branches of the new alliance and the old military forces weave their ways in and out of this organization making it possible for them to slip in and out of the eyes of detection with little effort.

On July 3rd, ten years after the Gundam's campaign against the army of Mariemaia, Organization Chaos errupted onto the new battlefield. Harnessing the power of highly advanced A.I. systems and unknown alloys which match that of Gundanium, their mobile suits storm the surface of their first target : Earth. As Earth's forces are overwhelmed, they set into play an operation which they had began to develop over the years : Code Oblivion

Code Oblivion called for the deployment of bio-geneticaly enhanced super-soldiers. Faster, Stronger, Smarter, and more Durable than average humans; the Oblivion soldiers were more than average men. At first, the war seemed to be shifting in favor of the alliance, that is before a drastic and unexpected incident occured. It seemed that the soldiers had a defect with their mental stability. Years of training after being kidnapped as children and altered for the past ten years seemed to destroy them from the inside out. Most broke under the strain of war, other's commited suicide or were simply killed on the battlefield due to mental instability.

Now, the only chance for the survival of peace is an elite group of Oblivion Soldiers. Only 7 survived the first month of combat out of the initial 100. These seven were the only ones who seemed to keep their mental states in check and rage on through glorious battles against heavily stacked odds and damaged mobile suits. They now wait for their chance to be deployed once more to obliterate the enemy which seeks to destroy the peace which was fought for by so many soldiers before them.

In a public announcement, the Leader of Organization Chaos stated his current beliefes to the public; " My name is Kiru Arzahai! It is my pleasure to announce to the people of this great world, that I am their new leader. Your military has fallen, and your 'Super Soldiers' have died under my power! Chaos has rained down on this pitiful world, and will now move into the final frontier : Space! Our supream goal is to conquer all which is tainted and rebuild it anew in our image! You have no chance, so I ask you, give up your arms and follow me into a new world of prosperity! "

As the public was sent into a panic, the re-development of the Gundam units was set into play by a mysterious figure within the military. A familiar face to few, but a name which proceeded them; Heero Yuy. The newly appointed minister of defense had his mind set on bringing down the enemy at hand without the help of the remaining 7 soldiers, seeing them as a failure. Working directly under him, Chang Wufei oversaw the re-development of the Gundam units. " We'll be the ones to pass judgement upon this threat. "

Heero Yuy sat at his desk with his head in his hands. He was exhausted from all of the paperwork he had been through in order to advance the re-development of the mobile suit infantry. As he leaned back, he dropped the pen in his right hand as it bounced from point to end, finaly landing on it's side at the edge of his desk.

" Getting tired I see. " A familiar voice pierced the right ear of Heero as he averted his eyes to see the shadowed form of Trowa Barton. Trowa had been his head of intelligence for some time now and was known to poke around in matters outside of his jurisdiction from time to time.

" Yeah. " Heero didn't bother to turn his head and closed his eyes after seeing it was Trowa.

" The enemy is moving fast. Their mobile suits are far more superior to what we have on the battlefield at this moment. " Trowa walked from the corner of the room and took a seat across from Heero on the opposite end of the desk.

" I know, but it's the best that we can give for now. At least until the new Mobile Suit project is complete. " Heero exhaled lightly. He felt he could be a bit more open with Trowa. He was comfortable around him opposed to his past allies. Trowa and Wufei were the only ones of the other four who he ever had to communicate with anyway.

" How about those soldiers? Where are they? " Trowa adjusted his feet with the question

Heero shifted and shook his head. " Not sure. The last transmission I recieved was a week ago. "

A white and gold uniformed soldier knocked on the door to Heero Yuy's office before entering. Once he ahd done so, he opened the door and stepped in, haulting before Heeros' desk and gave a crisp salute.

" At ease. What is it? "

The Soldier dropped his salute at Heero's aknowledgement and handed him a small data chip. " Sir, We have recieved a report from Alpha Team. They have infiltrated an enemy outpost and are about to proceed with their objective of destroying the Mobile Suit Dispatch Unit. "

Heero nodded and dismissed the Solider. He took the chip and placed it into his PC. As the data scrolled along the screen, he lowered his head and sighed at the report which was only a dozen minutes old. Over the past few years, Heero had shed a bit of his tough outer shell and developed somewhat of a sympathy for human life, but these soldiers.. all they knew was how to kill and how to kill efficiantly, be it done by hand or with a mobile suit. Heero felt a sort of link with them.

After a moment, he keyed his intercom. " I need someone from Mission Ops in here A-SAP. "

Heero brought his head down slightly to rest on his enterlaced fingers. He inhaled deeply for a moment before he shurgged off his discomfort.

" I've decided to go on the full offensive. Alpha Team has begun it's infiltration of the enemy outposts around Sector B-Gamma-07. With thier southern outpost disabled, we should be able to slip in and destroy one of their mobile suit factories, or... wipe the area clean and use it and it's resources avaliable to build our own mobile suits. "

He blinked and stood, his hands clasping one another behind his back as he paced from behind the desk. " I'll be asking you to go in and personaly oversee the offesive. "

Meanwhile...

Kaizen narrowed his eyes as he and two other of his partners reached the command center of the rather large outpost. He raised his right hand, made a fist, and pumped it twice to give the silent signal of " Be Ready. " He then used his left hand, spreading his fingers apart and waving over the area.. the signal to " Sweep the Area for enemies. "

The three split up, moving about quickly yet proficiantly. Two enemy guards broke out from behind a shelf, yet were put down with three muffled puffs from Kaizens' silenced side arm. After the area was cleared, one of his team-mates opened a small dish and sat it on the control panel, an ultra-high frequency beam would fire from this dish and give the command post back at headquarters the ability to obtain information from the computer system.

A voice broke over Kaizens' earpiece, as well as the others. " Commencing Operation Wolf Chase. Get in those mobile suits and prepare for reinforcements to arrive. New orders from HQ...We're going to take control of that mobile suit facility. "

Kaizen broke over the earpieces in a blistering quite tone. " We're going to use what they have lying around this place. Suit up with a pair of beam sabers if possible and a beam weapon. Hopefully their armor isn't coated yet.. considering that the enemy wouldn't expect a direct attack on their manufacturing facility. " He cut out and ran on with his team to comondeere a mobile suit.

3 Explosions peppered the outer shell of the outpost as a series of enemy mechs burst through the wall. Auto Fire turrets began to rain down on the scurrying enemy infantry as Kaizen departed from his main force with one other ally following him, a female named Mila.

Mila was the explosions and heavy weapon specialist. He would need her to assault the main base and rid the enemy of their mobile weapon construction capabilities. If anyone could blow up the main base, it would be her.

He staffed left just in time to take a small impact missle on the right shoulder of his mech, disabling the right arm. He lowered his position as a series of rockets streaked past him and into the enemy mech. It ballooned into a series of heat pockets before it's armor plating gave way and released the internal explosion. After the enemy had been rid of life, Kaizen and Mila made their way on, knowing that their team could handle what remained of the other outposts.

Kaizen confirmed the call and felt his sense of Zen kick in. A lifetime of training and coolness moved through his mind as he shifted the weight of his captured suit along the ridgelines of the enemy base, his com clicking on.

" Beta Phase, Commense enemy destruction. " The com went silent as a barrage of beam weapons fired all at once towards the enemies main facility.
