 After seeing how many friends Myoa had it made Degewi wonder, why didnt he have friends. To be friendless was that really something he wanted to set as a role for his two lovly foals. Degewi pondered these thoughts as he took a walk knowing Myoa was keeping the foals safe. Maybe it was time Degewi tried to make friends, it might be nice to have his own friend versus someone Myoa knew.
With that in mind Degewi kept on his walk, but he kept an extra ear out just in case he was to meet someone today.

Notte Rache was nibbling at apples. He was famished after days of wandering and now stood beneath an apple tree, long heavy beneath the snow. Its apples had fallen and gathered under the snow and he nosed about, carefully looking for more. Thus he did not hear another stallion approaching.

Degewi stopped suddenly his ears picking up the sound of snow being moved. He sniffed the air for signs of life and sure enough he picked up the sent of a lone stallion near by not to mention the smell of apples also loomed. Turning in the general direction the smell came from Degewi walked alittle closer.
"Hello?" Degewi asked he wasnt used to being the one to start the conversation normaly soquilis would come to him.

Notte lifted his head, catching sight of a tribal soquili, "Hello!" he replied in greeting , tossing his head. Catching an apple, he tossed it to the stallion, food was becoming scarce and it was good to find and share when they could. soon the snow would break and food would be more plentiful.
The stallion continued nosing the ground.

Being blind Degewi didnt see the apple so it smacked him between the eyes. Degewi snorted and shook his head wondering why the heck the stallion had thrown something at him. Degewi thought it odd though because the stallion sounded nice enough, didnt sound hostile at all. So having smelt the apples from before Degewi lowered his head and sniffed till he found the apple that had hit him.
"Uh...Thank you?" Degewi hadnt met anyone that would randomly share food like that before,but then again aside from a kolona, Myoa, and Myoa's friends Degewi hadnt met many other soquili.
"Uh my name it Degewi." Degewi wa even new at small talk so he offered his name before nibbling on the apple.

The stallion heard a hard thump and then something hit the ground. he looked up in surprise and took a long look at Degewi, then realised that his eyes were glazed over. He has no sight, Notte thought to himself, immediately reproaching himself for sending the apple flying without notice. It was not like him to forgo such a courtesy.
Notte apologised, "I had not realised, Degewi. I am Notte Rache." He walked up to him, blowing out softly so that the tribal one could catch his scent. "Do you have a home or family here?" he asked. it would be sad for one to wander without sight or home.

"Its fine." Degewi raised his head and smiled abit.
"Its nice to meet you Notte, not many would share food in this season with a stranger." Degewi could tell that Notte was helping Degewi get his scent. Which told Degewi to the point where Notte was. Ajusting his head so it face directly towards Notte he bowed his head lightly in greeting.
"A home not really, a family yes. I dont like to stay in one place for too long without a good reason. And Ive been alone for a long time till resently when Ive found myself with a wonderful lifemate and two foals, a colt and a filly, born only abit ago infact. Do you have a family or a home?" Degewi knew how it felt to be alone sight or not.

Notte smiled in return, a stallion with a family, he was very fortunate. Just awhile ago he remembers Johar with her son, they are good friends. "You are much blessed, Degewi. A mate and foals are blessings indeed. I've wandered from a far land, I enjoy my discoveries but have yet to find a love to share with."
He raised his head, sniffing the air. "There might be more snow coming. Were you heading elsewhere?"
They should find shelter if the snow comes fast. or not, Notte wants to go round the other side to rout for the flowers with taste leaves.

"I am arent I." It really hadnt hit Degewi till then how blessed he really was.
"If it gets bad enough I know a cave near by that we can take shelter in. Im just aimlessly wandering I do that. Its to cold for the foals to be traveling for too long so for now we are staying in one spot and it makes me restless. Did you have somewhere you were headed, I hope Im not bothering you."
Degewi kinda liked this Notte it was ashame he had yet to find a good mare. He was sure there were pleanty that would find him caring and loving. After all if an anti-social like Degewi could find a mare he was sure Notte could.

"Certainly not, a lonely wanderer always appreciate company, especially your good one, Degewi. Come, perhaps you'll find some flowers to bring to your mare? I would guess she would not like you away for such a long time, mares do worry for the safety of their herd. "
He set off, slowly walking through the leaves and snow, rustling at his hooves. "And a cave would be good, thankyou Degewi."
How pleased he was to meet someone new.

Degewi followed the sound of Notte's hooves.
"Myoa, would love some flowers,maybe you could help me with the colors, I can normaly only pick by smell. She knows I get restless and the foals are alseep right now, I have abit before she'll start to worry."
Degewi though for a moment or two before speaking again.
"You know, I know how it is to feel lonly. If you wanted to you could stay with my family till you found a mare for yourself. I need a friend and Myoa is friendly to anyone."

"That is very generous of you. I am content in my wanderings though occasionally a cave suffice when the weather is too harsh to sleep beneath the stars. Myoa is the name of your mate? It is very pretty."
He found a pretty red flower peeping out from under a tree, Stamping his hoof twice, he signalled to Degewi, "A red flower," he said, "right here, it would be lovely. There are several around here."
