*She was tired of this; she was so tired of running from this. It had been a good few weeks now and she had not seen Fedha, not once. She couldn’t quite recall a time in her life when they were not together. So this sudden change had been hitting her hard and though she knew it was her call to leave him when she did... Ausi felt regret swell up within her. Why did this have to hurt so much?
It was like a sickness had just overcome her whole body and with every passing day she felt a little more of herself drift off into nothingness. Ausi didn’t need him to be happy, she was capable of smiling without him-but she did need him in her life... that much she knew. Ausi needed Fedha in her life.
But he was gone, just like when he came, he left.
And she was alone.
With a tired smile Ausi lifted herself from her resting place within the tall grass and slowly started to walk aimlessly around. She was in no hurry to be anywhere; she had no one waiting for her back home, not anymore.
Her blue eyes, glazed over with a soft layer of tears closed and reopened as she sat herself down after a while of walking. She didn’t even really know where she was anymore. Things just felt so out of place now, what was she going to do with herself now?*

“Troubling, yes.” He had said earlier in the morning, before she had drifted. Again she’d tried to pitch him the idea of staying amongst the red mountain lions one more week.
She hated how he spoke sometimes. He was always careful and articulate. Of course, the comment was directed at her. He found her concern troubling. Did he want her to say it? She was trying to dodge his pride by pretending it was her wish to speak with Ona more that kept them. But privately, they both knew. He was getting too old for this life on the road. “Why do you keep hesitating?” He’d concluded.
But while her mortal self tangled with mortal issues, Amédia was still about her daily tasks. He never asked why she left, and she was glad she never needed to deal with that.
Daintily, the small goddess drifted. She could feel life around her, and she followed the faint trails to that which called her the most. It was almost like following a scent- but instead of odor, she scented pain. Empathically she took it all in, and it kept her humble.
Today- her drifting fell south, to the grasses. Amédia paused for a moment, drifting down and reforming herself as a small white lioness. A mortal- but different from her other illusion. She felt a pang even as she shifted, and was a bit troubled by where it came. This...was a strange pain, and one she did not see all that often. She moved slowly, passing through the grasses and listening. In the distance was a figure. She was walking slowly- before sinking down into the grass. Her eyes seemed cloudy.
Carefully, the small female approached, her body lower and her strange ringed eyes glittering with interest. Pain- but two kinds from this one. Only one of which she could fix. "Hello there," She spoke softly, hoping not to startle.

"Oh, hello."
*The blue-eyed lioness spoke as she gazed upon the form of another. At first she didn’t take mind to what this new lioness looked like. She was too far lost within her on thoughts to really get a good look at who it was that was speaking to her.
As selfish as that may be... she felt very hurt right now, and when she was in a state like this Ausi found little inspiration to care for anything else. She would dwell upon this for many days to come, it would seem. No-one had given her a chance to let it all out.
She was hurt, like anyone in her situation would be.
But with a soft smile Ausi let herself pretend that she was alright, so that she could go about this conversation without any tears.*
"My name is Ausi, I am sorry if I wandered into your lands. I am just passing through."

The white lioness smiled affectionately, and gently lowered her head. Although she had removed the wings from this form- a set of small pink flowers still rested above her ears. As her head dipped, they gently bounced. “No, no- not my lands at all, I’m afraid.” Her bright eyes shifted. “I’m just a traveler of sorts. Drifting- mostly. I’m a healer.” She smiled.
“My name is Amédia,” The white creature spoke. “I’m sorry to ask...” She obscured, gently stepping around the girl to get a better look at her. “But...are you alright? You seem...tired?” She seemed pained, but she wasn’t about to quite go there yet. She’d wait to see what this one had to say. Such a sorrowful face! It broke the small goddesses’s heart to see.
“You don’t need to worry here.” She reiterated. “I don’t think anyone comes here that often.”

“Amédia; that’s a lovely name, and you're a healer? Mmm, I have never seen anyone like you before!"
*Ausi beamed brightly for a moment, this new lioness seemed to be very kind, but kindness was something Ausi had never grown accustomed to. With a soft smile her blue eyes settled upon the lioness before her and with a rather dull tone she spoke.*
“I am very tired... it’s been a long walk for me.”
*Apart of her wanted to sob out all of her problems to this new female, and apart of her was very close to doing so but she held herself back. She knew better then to drop that kind of bomb on anyone.*
“Really now?- I like it here, it’s a shame not many others come out this way.”

Amédia smiled eagerly and craned her ruffled neck to the side. “It is. I like places like this. There is not much here, but there is a great quality to that as well. At least,” She added gently. “It is a good place to come to think. Very good for healing the mind, and that’s something that no tonic can do.”
She turned and walked forward, pushing past some grass with her paw, and lightly nudging the dirt. Despite her paw touching it- the white coat did not become dirty. In fact, it was a bit eerily clean. Underneath the patch of dirt was a small earthen root, and she tapped it lightly with her paw. “And a good place to find ingredients as well.” She thrummed, pleased with herself.
“Where have you come from, to walk so far?” She asked, almost as if she had forgotten what she had been doing.
