This is not about who you like better. This is about who deserves the title King of Games.
I personaly think Seto is a better duelist then Yugi even though Yugi usually beats him. Seto is very smart and comes up with brilliant strategies, I love watching his duels. But Yugi wins because of the heart of the cards. He has skill but I still think Seto is a better duelist.

While I do agree with your statement made about Seto, which is absolutely 100 percent true, I think Yugi is the true King of Games. While I acknowledge the fact that he probably beats Seto because of Atem's help, he still maintains the certain knowledgeable trait about the game. Atem may be the cause of the winning streak, but if you remember, it was Yugi who defeated Atem in the final duel, which by the way was THE MOST AMAZING DUEL I have ever seen in the show. Seto is an outstanding duelist but I think he works too hard to try to get the title. Yugi is a little more laid back and works diligently in defending his title.

I agree with a lot of what your saying. But sometimes I just dont think Yugi has what it takes. But if Seto just focoused on making good strategies instead of his goal being to make a strategy to defeat Yugi I think he would be better.
And that duel was awsome! I was hoping Yugi would lose so Atem wouldnt leave but it was a really great ending for the show.

There is no other way I would have had the show end. It was such an emotional duel.

I say yugi is the king of games because he does have that trait where he just tries to save his friends and that is what keeps him on top and yes I agree completly that seto is a genius and his stratagies is what keeps him close to yugi but in the end yugi comes on top

Tch, Seto Kaiba is the true king of games. We seen him use the same cards over and over again and doesn't have any of those items that allow others to cheat. In the first espiode, we see Yugi somehow drawing out Exoida while he was one move from losing. That says something right there. Down to his 200 points and Seto had the upper hand til that exoida crap. In the duelist kingdom, we see them dueling with Seto on his last bit of life points We've seen his cards and he reserved most of them. But chopping off a dragon's head then he reborns the monster then ends his turn is wrong. That duel is his no matter how you look at it. Want more of my reasoning just contact me and I'll give them. Seto's deck is built right and no random cards are put in there Unlike Yugi's deck. He keeps switching out cards and doesn't have any strategy. Expect bring out his magician. As for the final duel, Seto should duel him. In duelist kingdom shows how if Seto wins the duel against the pharoh it'll affect him. And they keep putting in, Priest and Atemu, saying there will be a great battle against the two. But Yugi jumps in and said no.
To me if the Show wasn't called Yugioh, Seto would beat Yugi how he defeats Joey.

A little off topic but a cool episode would have been if Yugi let Seto win a duel and then to see Seto's reaction. *pictures how the episode would have gone*

I say seto and my main point comes from the movie
yugi 's all oh no the monsters are real how are we suppose to beat them
then kaiba's all like shut it you littler twerp if the monster's are real so our are's use the blue eyes shining to destroy it
end of my part of the debate

Yugi never beat Kaiba at all, He let Atem do all the work.

Let's look at it realistically. Kaiba has a well thought out strategy that he keeps enhancing. Yugi puts in cards that look cool and has one strategy. Summon the Dark Magician. Then what. Oh! i know. bottomless trap hole. Obviously Kaiba is way better.

One more things to add, you can build Seto's deck and use it. It'llwin most of the duels for you. Look at Yugi's, and you can't win because its random. If you want to prove my theory is wrong. Build Yugi's deck and lets have a duel.

The only version of yugi's deck that ever worked well was the movie version and the gx one but I agree I have built kaiba's deck before and it served me well heck any deck involving blue eyes white dragon's serves me well

I say Seto is the king of games. He is very smart and always has a strategy ready. Yugi always has that "heart of the cards" crap, which somehow allows him to win even under the most impossible of events. Seto doesn't rely on luck or any spiritual junk. His deck is carefully built and extremely powerful, also slightly more interesting than Yugi's. So there you have it, Seto Kaiba is the true king of games.
