I got bored so I thought I'd make this.
What is your favorite genere of metal?
mine is melodic death metal. I'm really into In Flames and Dark Tranquillity and some other bands like that....

I have a really wide range of tastes, and the genre usually depends on my mood, but I'd have to say Folk/Viking metal.

mines death metal and i dont know what you would classify lamb of god and pantera as but i cant think of anythign to call them but just metal

I've noticed lamb of god is more commonly labeled metalcore, and pantera as just heavy, but whatever, they're just labels. Anyway, mines a tie between Death metal and Power metal.

Thrash, black or death, but I'll listen to most metal.
Save the majority of nu-metal.

Some thrash I enjoy: Early Metallica Exodus Overkill Artillery Flotsam & Jetsam Dark Angel Stam1na Toxik Sodom Destruction Kreator Destroyer 666 Exhorder Gammacide Sabbat Erm.. that's all that comes to mind at the moment. But yeah. Good bands, if there are any in that list that you haven't heard of. 3nodding

I like all sorts of metal but my favorites are speed metal, black metal, death metal and goth metal.

Neither of those are actual genres, but I've heard people say speed metal before. "Speed metal" usually refers to particular thrash and power metal bands.

Lamb of God are Metalcore with thrash influences, and Pantera are Post-thrash aka Groove Metal. My fav. genre is Doom Metal.

you forgot viking and progressive metal in the survey!! and you shoulda put power metal, not speed.
but thats ok. i normally would vote progressive, but since it's not there i voted for black (second favorite)
