Over the years of playing in groups, we all have bad times, but some can get REAL bad. Lets swap stories whee
I had a gig that was about 3 hours from where I live, and I was driving most of my band's equipment in a Toyota Highlander. First off, I wasnt paying attention to the freeway entrance, and I ended up hitting the curb hard turning into the onramp. Luckly my car made it out fine, but it wasnt fun, especially with the rest of the band driving in a seperate car watching me do it sweatdrop Then when we were at the show, I was recovering from being sick. I was told an amp was going to be at the gig, so that we could save space, so I decided anything could be better than my crappy little combo amp I have, so I left it behind. Turned out that there was no amp for me, just the house. Totally screwed me, but I was fine for my set. Then cuz I was sick, I threw up in my mouth after the 2nd song, and swallowed it on stage. I was begging for a water over a mic, it was priceless xp . I then had to do the drive home, sick at 2am. 3 hours of a drive let me remind you and after the set, it was a rough drive home.
On top of that experiance, Im also thinking back to a gig a few years back where I was playing upright bass, and I was in 2 shows. I first had one with my guitarist, then my jazz combo. Well, my guitarist decideds to split after our set with all of my patch cables. The only solution we had was to put a micraphone up to my bass, and prey. Worst sounding gig ever stressed

One night I was so terribly sick, I just wanted nothing more than to pass out on stage. When we were getting ready to load out, I barely even helped, I simply went in the van and fell asleep. When I woke up, we were in Applebee's. Then these drunk guys kept throwing things at us, and Za almost had to stab a ho.
It wasn't great. I was so sick. And not to mention where we were playing was at the pleasent temperature of 95 degrees.

Worst Experience, i was this Bands Session Bassist, cos there Actuall Bassist wasnt really any good, and when they got a big gig they didnt tell him about it and got me to play with them, anywho this guys actually a good friend of mine, and guess, what, he was at the gig, right at the front, and thats not the worst of it, i had just played an 2 hour long afternoon show with my another band, thats pretty hard on the fingers, and this one we were playing another 2 hours, i had Band-aids over my Blisters, didnt sound the best, and guess what, they burst, right on stage, i gave a yell of pain, i was backking Vocals and the mic was right in front of me, i'm sure everyone heard, and cos i had played a gig before they had swelled up, and it went all ove my bass gonk yuck, and it was only 20 minutes into the set, i had another good hour and a half to go, by that time there actual bassist had left so he couldnt replace me, soldier on!
