All right, after talking to a bunch of people with differen opinions on the matter I've come to the conclusion that I'll have to make this a guildwide decision concerning power regeneration in threads.

1. No power regeneration inside an active fight thread.

2. Power Regeneration by first a post of rest, followed by one post for a power regenerated, undisturbed and resting. But cannot be consecutive posts (must wait for others to post between posts).

3. Power Regeneration while resting for a specific number of pages?

4. The old fashioned way from Flipp's guild where you return to your HQ and return after three pages?

5. Rest out until the active fight is finished and then return with full powers?

And another thing that could be added to the above is

--a limit to how many powers can be regenerated (like five)

--only MP or SP being allowed to be regenerated

A lot of opinions are needed to help make this decision, so PLEASE post what you think is best. Thnx.

I think people should what 3 pages per every 5 Power Regenerations.

Like if Jaydis depletes-Sp?- her powers in an active fight, she must find a safe place, or perhaps return to her apartment or HQ for three pages in the active fight thread before returning. She can wait 3 more pages to have ten.

And I think this should be done per thing that's being regenerated.
Like 3 to 6 posts for Power regens and then a seperate 3 to 6 posts for Health or whatever.

I mean, I know i haven't been Role Playing in this Guild for even a whole week, but I'd like to help out.

Just because you haven't been here that long, doesn't make your opinion invalid, and that's a really good idea and I'm glad you suggested it. 3nodding

You have to think of fights in this thread like fights in DnD. In DnD, each players "turn" takes a matter of 6 seconds. In that 6 seconds, they can make a certain number of attacks, move a certain amount, and cast a single spell unless they have Quicken Spell. The way I see these fights is a flurry of lightning bolts and explosions, a 20 post fight spanning the course of less than 5 minutes. Does it really seem logical for someone to replenish 1/10 of their Main Power in a single 15 second session if you're seeing these the way I do?

O-o I'm not so sure I caught all of that, considering I have nooooo past with DnD. But what're your thoughts, without weird numbers and odd references?

He's saying that the in-story time of the fights isn't really a long time. like five minutes or so. He feels that isnt a long enough time for people to recover their power.

Woot. ^.^

I have had 2 mission based RPs in the past, and that's ho we did it.
It worked really well.

I have background with D&D and I have no idea what he said. >.<

*hugs* thanks BD, (and thanks Ashe--sorry if I couldn't quite interpret it sweatdrop ). ((and thanks Tsuki for making me feel less stupid xd ))

Well when I think about it, for the normal battle span, he's absolutely right. In the most recent story line its been mostly one on one, and they couldn't possibly take the time to do any of said stuff. But, I was thinking along the lines of a more epic battle like the dome, when they have other things to defeat coming up, etc.

So, in that case, maybe in general we shouldn't use power regen in an active thread/battle, unless it is specified for that battle scenario (like something with a big boss or what not).

I agree.

If it's just a simple fight or short term thing that could be ended quickly, especially of two or more people are fighting it, then the Power regen option shouldn't be allowed.

But in battles such as the Dome, I think Power Regens should be allowed, but with rules and Ect.
Because if a character hits one battle alone and it's large and they use up all their powers, then what are they supposed to do?

I hope I'm understanding this right because I really have no idea hat's going on in the Dome.
I've just been catching posts here and there and all I know is the Boss is the Seer. >.<

The boss is the five union members, which they haven't gotten to yet, but.....they weren't as big and tough as the seer was. I need to learn how to Oomph up my bad guys, which I'm slowly working on....>.>'

But with the more I'm thinking about it, the more I realize there wouldn't be that much of a need for power regen, unless in a battle where it was sepcified. Otherwise it would keep normal battles going on and on and on and on and on.........and on.
