The first pictures are actually of shortly before he ever went off to BMT in the first place...and so he still has hair. This was the last time his whole family was in one place, so...it was kind of a special time. And here's a picture his sister took of him being a lazy bum on the sofa...after piling stuff on him.

This is the rest of James's wonderful family. Consisting entirely of women. Aside from him. From left to right we have James, twin sister Jennifer, his Ma, oldest sister Jamie, and second oldest sister Jessica. Yes, they're all J's.
Here we see that the family is made up of tiny people and one not tiny person.
He looks kinda Hawaiian in this picture, methinks.
First picture Jamie had taken when she came to Texas. James has short hair now. And will for the next six and a half years.

This was James's BMT training flight, Flight 710. Shown here at graduation parade with brother flight, 709, who were collectively chosen for flag mass. They look kickass.

Flight 710 earned three prestigious awards during its time at BMT: Dormitory Excellence, Drill Excellence, and Honor Flight. Honor Flight basically means that the flight did exceptionally well in all areas, but the Drill and Dormitory streamers indicate that they were unsurpassed in those areas especially.
The single woman in the picture is SSgt Valenza, 710's Team Chief. Blue Rope of the year. Best Military Training instructor on the whole base, and THIS was her last flight before going back to the normal Air Force. The goofy guy in the BDU's next to her is SSgt Wood, their other MTI.
And this is him standing in front of the streamers, thus further proving his awesomeness.
On town pass, Jamie and James went to Dave & Busters where James almost lost his flight cap (which happens kinda frequently...luckily some kind person always hands it back to him or he'd be a little screwed). Here's James showing off the prize they won. Ooooooo.
